Once Spock was free to leave the dinner he goes in search of Avilasa who he finds still in her dress in her quarters which he is now once again free to enter at his own whim "I do not snore!"  he says as soon as he reaches where she stands she laughs then turns around, wraps her arms around his neck and starts a slow dance which turns into what the humans call a makeout session for she kisses his lips and he returns her kiss by answering it then they make love to one another on her bed for she lead them to her room as they danced after they were spent she falls asleep in his arms and flashes of M'Benga's memories flow through both of their minds as he lays there holding her with a smile on his face and Spock gets a clearer understanding of what M'Benga and Christine have gone through which makes his smile disappear he knows she doesn't know she's doing what she's doing now or perhaps she does know that she's doing it and it was her way of helping him understand the war beyond the statistic of it for he has been studying it but does not know the full impact of it and now in a way he does he's just grateful she isn't having nightmares about it for he would have no clue how to comfort her if she was as a matter of fact he's never known her to have nightmares and she doesn't snore either but the greatest feeling that he's experiencing is the ones he's had ever since she kissed him again for in a special way she told him that she's willing to give him a second chance and he swore to himself he was going to do everything within his capability not to ruin this chance she's "gifted" him in one of the best ways possible the hidden Vulcan Finger Touches at the dinner, the kisses, the lovemaking and now falling asleep in his arms for if she was not comfortable/at peace she never would have been able to do that.... "so.... the Klingon's a coward huh!?"  M'Benga hears Avilasa say as she walks into the Gym a few seconds after Rah left it "it would seem so"  he replies with a smile "don't worry I'm not going to ask you to spar with me I just came to check on you"  she says he chuckles then replies "I appreciate it"  he walks over to her and hugs her then whispers into her ear "I really do!"  she hugs him back and he sinks into her warm loving embrace "now go take a shower and get rid of those dark thoughts I'll be right out here when you're done.... unless you need me in there with you and as long as you keep your boxers on I could oblige with that request!"  she says as she lets him go he chuckles then replies "no, I should be alright thank you!"  she says "then I'll keep talking to you as you clean yourself of the not so imaginary dirt and help you remember where you truly are at this point in time"  he smiles then replies as he pats her shoulder "I appreciate it"  and that is exactly what she did she spoke of her family and her home helping him stay as calm as he possibly can while he took a sonic shower he found it fascinating how her light mixed with his darkness for it was almost like he could see both and he focused mainly on what he imagined her home was like which at least kept his heart calm a minute or so later he looks up from his kneeling position in the shower and sees her standing before him "your mind isn't clean but your body is and I believe there's a Biobed that needs fixing"  she says he chuckles she reaches down and helps him up keeping her eyes on his as she helps him leave the shower which she has the computer turn off then she leaves him alone so he can get dressed then escorts him to Sickbay and leaves hoping he'll be ok which he was till Rah showed up, they end up in a fight and he kills him but Christine helps him turn it around and make it seem like Rah attacked him when she's questioned about it Christopher almost mentioned that Christine was wrong when she said "I guess it goes to show, no one ever really knows what goes on in anyone's heart"  for he believes Avilasa just might but he refused to bring her into this mess that he has to somehow find a way to clean up.... a few weeks later Avilasa helps Uhura when she becomes a Switchboard Operator of sorts when the Enterprise discovers a naturally-occurring Subspace Fissure/Fold and Spock starts to experiment with tripling the speed of the Subspace Communication they work side by side sending message after message to everyone who is to receive/had sent one to specific people and places and as usual Avilasa worked faster than Uhura which actually made the dark skinned human smile and she was very grateful for her friends help and when Spock called asking if Uhura was ready to assist him Avilasa sends her off letting her know that she's "got this" as the humans say and Uhura smiles as she sighs in relief then leaves the Bridge and heads to Engineering.... when Avilasa feels a wave of something flow through the ship she whispers to herself as she shivers at how cold it was "this is not good!"  but she doesn't stop working for she didn't sense anyone being harmed in anyway though she did begin to wonder what it was and what it did and when she hears everyone start singing many of their "normal" words she finds out exactly what it did.... she wasn't affected by it of course but it is a strange occurrence.... and of course Spock and Uhura do whatever they can to try and fix the problem and succeed.... thanks to what happened when the Ensigns from the future came Spock began to realize why Avilasa never "interfered" with the "bigger things" that happen on the ship for it's what protects her from becoming a part of history and protects her and her family from becoming a slave to the Federation for they are capable of so many miraculous things and he becomes glad those in the future don't know of her and her family....
