12; "You're okay"

"Jungkook told me he found you a dietitian. He sent me his number, you should contact him and start going." Jimin says, his face stained with tears.

They have been laying in eachothers arms on Taehyung's bead for about four hours now. It's dark outside. Jimin is still wearing his uniform pants and a random black t-shirt he changed into.

After Taehyung promised Jimin to try and get better, they have been wrapped in taehyungs bed, rotting for hours and ignoring all the phone calls.

Taehyung can hear Jimin's soft breaths. "Yeah, okay."

"You're so small, Taehyung. I feel horrible."

"Jimin, we talked about this. I can't control my weight loss. I can deal with it, sure, but it's still going to happen. It's a part of my disease."

"I know, Taehyung, I know. It's just," he sniffs. "How can I be so blind?" He wonders, pulling Taehyung's small body closer.

Taehyung makes eye contact with Jimin and smiles. "It's okay. I'm okay."

"It's okay," Jimin repeats.

"Yes, that's right."

"It's okay..."

"Mhm,"

"You're okay, right?"

"I am. See?" Taehyung makes Jimin look at him as he grins widely. Jimin smiles weakly, closing his eyes and resting his head on Taehyung's chest. Listening to his heartbeat.

Badump.

Badump.

Badump.

His heart is beating. He's okay.

"Yeah, you're okay."

"You're not gonna tell me why you've been weird lately?" Hoseok asks, taking the chance that Jungkook's not here to talk to Yoongi alone.

"I'm worried about Taehyung," Yoongi says with a sigh.

"Yeah, but you never told me why." Hoseok sits down on Jungkook's messy bed, ready to listen to his friend.

Yoongi sighs, turning in his chair to look at Hoseok. "A few days ago, while we were in campus, Taehyung called Jungkook from the hospital. Apparently, he had fainted that morning, and our hall director brought him to the hospital. I think Taehyung ate some types of food he should'nt have eaten based on his condition. But I really don't know what's his condition. Like, why is he sick?"

Hoseok listens intently. "Maybe it's nothing? Don't try to overthink it, especially since you're not that close to Taehyung."

"Yeah, but Jimin looked really worried. It seemed like something serious."

"Why do you suddenly care about Jimin?" Hoseok smirks.

Yoongi rolls his eyes. "Whatever. I probably shouldn't worry. Like you said, I'm not close with them." He says, trying to convince himself more than anything.

"Is that why Taehyung hasn't been going to school for the last two days?" Hoseok asks.

Yoongi shrugs. "Probably,"

"Now that I think about it, Jimin hasn't been annoying you lately."

"Yeah, it feels weird. I should talk to him."

"Maybe,"

Yoongi waits patiently by jimins locker. He thinks if he waits long enough, Jimin would eventually show up.

He must need to grab something from his locker at some point.

"Can you move?" Jimin says, eyes fixed on the floor.

Yoongi looks up at the boy in front of him. His eyes are red, and his face is swollen. He looks like he has been crying for hours.

Yoongi quietly moves aside so Jimin can access his locker. Now that Jimin's here, Yoongi has no idea what to say.

"You okay?"

"I guess,"

"Cool, uh..." Yoongi starts. "I just wanted to ask about Taehyung. How is he doing right now? I mean, I could've asked Jungkook, but he's been acting different lately--"

"Okay," Jimin interrupts, staring ahead. "Taehyung's okay." He replies, finally looking at Yoongi.

But he's not looking at him to be respectful while answering his question. He's looking at Yoongi's perfect face.

His gorgeous narrow eyes, his tinted lips, and his sharp jawline. Why can't Jimin look as good as him?

Why can't Jimin's life be as peaceful as Yoongi?

Yoongi doesn't have to worry about losing a friend. Yoongi doesn't have to cry his eyes out every day because he doesn't feel like he's doing what he wants in his life.

Yoongi is studying the thing he wants to study. Yoongi has a lot of friends who see eachother everyday. Yoongi has the choice to dye his hair anytime he wants because he doesn't feel like he's going to fail all the time.

Yoongi is smart. Yoongi is charismatic. Yoongi is cool. Yoongi is attractive. Yoongi is this, Yoongi is that.

Yoongi is perfect.

Jimin is guilty.

This is the reason he wasn't paying attention to Taehyung in the first place.

Envy is tearing him apart, and everyone around him too.
