Chapter 3. Yviera Festival

Xyra's POV

Every year, our kingdom conducts an event where all Yvierian People should attend. It is the festival all over the realm of Yviera Kingdom. Isa ito sa mga pinakaimportanteng pagdiriwang ng Yviera, that the Olympian Gods, especially Zeus, who created our Elements visits us. And of course, hindi lang yan. There is also a reason why they come here every year. It is to choose the warriors of Mount Olympus.

Naglalakad ako patungo sa Dining Area ng Academy. Wala akong kasama. Kaya titig na titig sa akin ang mga estudayanteng kagaya ko na papasok sa dining area.

Malawak ang dining area or canteen ng Academy. May five long table na pahaba where each students every elements sat and may isang table sa harap na pahaba rin, where our teachers sat and of course our Academy's Headmaster.

Nagkukumpungan ang iba't ibang mga estudayente every building. Hindi kami gaanong nagkakasalamuha lalo na sa ibang elementalist dahil sa busy sa academics at training. Kaya ka-clan or elementalist mo lang ang everytime mong nakakasalamuha. Ito rin ang dahilan upang magbuild ng yabangan ng kapangyarihan. Though it should not be, alam ng lahat na pantay pantay lang kami dito. Pero ewan sa amin kung ano ang ginagawa nila kung bakit may nag-aaway dahil sa kapangyarihan. Hindi ba sila nakukuntento?

I look for our table. Hindi naman mahirap hanapin dahil may color coding naman ang mga table for classification. Purple for Aether Users, Blue for Water, Green for Nature, White for Air, and Red for Fire. The table where arranged lengthwise when you're infront of the tables.

Umupo ako sa dati kong spot, the middle part. Not exactly the middle however, malapit lang naman kaya parang nasa gitna narin.

Naramdaman ko naman ang pagtabi sa akin ni Heather. Andito na pala siya. Naalala ko tuloy ang nakita ko sa buhay ni Sir Lander. Should I tell this to her? Pero maniniwala ba siya?

"Good morning Yvierian Academians!" A loud voice heard by all silence all of us. Kung kanina'y medyo maingay ang area but now, the voice coming from the Headmaster stop us all from what we are doing that can cause some unnecessary noise.

"You are called here today to discuss the Festival of our very own Yviera. May mga darating na ibang mga bisita ang ating realms. From mortal, Magie Academy and of course, the Olympian Gods. Ngayong taon, mas pinaganda ang ating pagkakaisa that we are conducting an activity with the blessed of the gods. Ang activity na ito ay hunting ng mga vessels. Ngayong taon na ito magsisimula. Ang sino mang makakapasa ay may tyansang makapasok sa Olympian Battle of Gods as winner. Alam kong hindi na ito lingid sa inyong kaalaman. Olympian Battle is a very crucial stage to approach. Kaya if sino ang mananalo sa hunting na gaganapin ay makakakuha ng tyansang pasok sa Olympian Battle of Gods." Headmaster started.

Olympian Battle of Gods is a test that every Yvierian wants to attend. Marami ng Yvierian ang mga naging Warrior because of this test. Para na rin mapalakas ang mga nilalang at mapanatili ang harmony at peace ng buong universe.

"With this, each member should compose every elementals. Three elemental each. Mahirap ang hunting na inyong gagawin kaya mas maganda kung marami kayong mag-jojoin per team. But before we talk about the team. Let's have the updated programs that will be conducted though the Yviera Festival." Huminto si Headmaster at sabay sabay kaming tumingin sa isang pader na may ilaw na lumilitaw. "First, the Feast of Yviera Statue, isa ito sa pinakamahalagang ipagdiwang ng ating kingdom, the Statue serve to be an opening way para makapagsimula na ang Feast. Every individual from every dynasty are tasked to contribute one of their power to activate the said statue. Next is the Olympian Visit. After the Yviera Statue, darating ang mga creators natin para mamasyal sa Yviera. They will visit and roam everywhere specially dito sa Academy. Olympian are expecting a high quality of abilities of yours. Next is the Festival of Talents, three days ang preparation ng Festival of Talents kaya habang namamasyal ang mga Olympian Gods, other are tasked to prepare for the Talent Festival. And last but not the least, the Yviera Hunting, dito na ang tinutukoy kong hunting. Students ang dapat na sasali rito. Special mention sa mga may potential for Olympian Battle of the Gods." Headmaster discussed.

"As for the hunting, I will be calling you here tomorrow para sa pag-establish ng teams. Be ready. All you will experience sa hunting ay reality. You must ready yourselves future warriors! Meeting dismissed!"

Tahimik na nagtitigan kaming lahat. We are all not ready about the hunting. As if makukuha naman ako. I am just a normal water bender kaya impossibleng makuha ako sa hunting na yun. Though, maybe there's a chance hehe.

"Alright! Students, yiu nay now proceed to your cabins and wait for further updates! We will call you here tomorrow for the team recruiting!" Sir Frecio stated. One of the kind and aspiring headmaster of our academy.

Nagsitayuan naman ang lahat sa at unti unting lumabas sa area. Nakipila na rin ako para mas mapabilis ang aking pagkarating sa cabin ko. Heather follows me too.

"Sana makuha tayo noh, Xyra! We've been dreaming to become a warrior since child diba?" Heather said.

She's right. Isa sa mga pangarap naming dalawa ay ang mapabilang sa mga warriors ng Olympian Gods. Halos lahat kase ng mga ninuno namin ay kabilang sa warriors at nakakahiya naman kung kami ngayon ay wala man lang makapasok.

Habang naglalakad, samu't saring diskusyon ang naririnig ko everywhere. Pinag-uusapan nila ang mga gaganapin sa hunting. Of course, Alpha section ang mga tatalagang leaders per team. Yviera Academy has its own sectioning and levelling. Novice for beginners, Omega for high class, Beta for higher class and Alpha for highest class. And I was belong, luckily to the Beta Class.

"Alam mo, sana Aether user maging team leader natin, they have the potential in handling the team wisely. They can control everything." Rinig kong saad ni Heather. I agree with her. With a good and wise leadership of an Aether user to us, maganda ang teamwork at paniguradong mananalo kami. If ever na makuha.

Well, technically, hindi naman need na Aether user ang palaging nagiging leader. It could be also fire user. May mga malalakas ring elementals na nahihigitan ang lakas ng aether pero if full na Aether ka, kahit siguro sinong elemental ay kaya mo. Well, no records in the history pa naman.

"Sa tingin mo Xyra makukuha tayo?" Tanong ni Heather. We're both from Beta Class. There's a possibility na makuha kami or not. It's not that I doubt our capability, pero andaming mga mas magaling sa amin kaya, 50/50 ang sagot ko sa tanong niya.

"Maybe," saad ko at saktong nakarating sa cabin ko. I smiled at her and entered my room. Magkatabi lang ang aming cabin ni Heather. What are friends for hmm?

Pagpasok ko sa aking room, I felt that something was here. It was a familiar presence.

"You're here, Xyra!" Bati ng boses. Then I saw, an hourglass is shining. Chronos.

"What are you doing here?" I asked. I started to cast a water spell to elucidate him.

"What do you think you can join the hunting, Xyra,"

"What are you talking about?" Isa rin ito. Nalilito ako sa nangyayari sa akin. Kalma, Xyra! I'm just hallucinating. Better to sleep.

"I am not a hallucination, Xyra! I am real. I'm just warning you about the Festival. Don't trust everyone! I know you will be chosen as one of the hunters! Goodluck!." Then the presence vanished again.

What just did he say? Don't trust everyone.
