Chapter 5. Fiery

Aya's POV

I never imagined that wil happen. A tsunami just washed out us all. But luckily, everything was fine and my students are safe. But on what I saw at Xyra's hand make me full shock. How could it be? She's a Water Bender. And how can she cast a Fire Barrier?

I glance at my students laying unconsciously at the ground. I approach Xyra who's lying beside Heather. And I mouthed, 'Who are you?'

Then her body suddenly shine like it was healing her. Nilapit ko ang aking kamay sa kanya at hahawakan ko na siya ng mapaso ako sa kanyang mga braso. It triggered my watch and a message pop up on it. This watch serves as our means of communication. It was adapted from the other realm, that our realm travellers teach us.

"What happened here?" Napalingon ako sa nagtanong. Si Lander.

"Lander." Lumapit naman ito sa akin at pinagmasdan ang mga estudyante.

"Anong nangyari sa kanila?" Ulit niyang tanong. Then I told him everything what I saw. What I just witnessed a while ago.

He frowned when he just realized something. "Impossible. How could she?"

Tumango ako sa sinabi niya. Napatitig naman ako kay Xyra, she was still unconscious, and her body continuos to shine. Nang kanina ay hindi pa ito namalayan ni Lander pero ng lumiwanag na ng husto ay nagulat naman siya.

"I thought it was just a hallucination pero hindi. How can she possess two elements? And cast a Fire Barrier?" Sunod-sunod kong saad.

"We should report it to Headmaster. Maybe he can answer the mystery of this." Lander suggested.

Third Person POV

Habang ang dalawang guro ay nagtataka sa hiwagang nagaganap sa dalagang nakahandusay na si Xyra, nakamasid sa kanila ang isang nakabalot na nilalang.

"Ngayon ay nangyayari na ang kinatatakutan ko." Saad nito. "Kailangan kong mapigilan ang pagsali ng babaeng ito sa Olympian Battle of the Gods para hindi niya maalala kung sino siya. Lyra, I am doing this for you!" Dagdag na wika nito.

Sa kabilang dako, nagising si Xyra sa isang espasyo. Walang bahid ng kalikasan ang kinaroroonan niya.

"Nasaan ako?" Wika niya. Pinagmasdan niya ang kaniyang paligid. Walang makikitang kahit ano. Siya lang. Espasyo. Walang liwanag. Dilim ang nakikita niya.

"Xyra!" Isang boses ang narinig niya na tumawag sa kaniyang pangalan.

"Sino ka? Magpakita ka." She tried to cast a spell but she can't. Hindi niya talaga magagamit ang kapangyarihan niya dahil nasa isang dimension siya. Dimension ng panaginip. Panaginip na parang bangungot.

"Don't you dare to cast a spell Xyra, mahihirapan kalang niyan." Saad ng boses. It is a female voice.

"Para dika na magtaka, I am Fiery, the deity of Fire, isa ako sa mga anak ni Hephaestus, ang diyos ng apoy. Nagpakita ako sa'yo sapagkat alam kong alam mo ang nangyari sa'yo. At maitatanong mo rin kung bakit mo iyon nagawa?" Saad ng boses.

"Anong ibig mong sabihin?" Tanong ulit ni Xyra.

"Hindi ka pangkaraniwan na elemental, Xyra, isa ka sa mga pinakaespesyal na nilalang sa olympian. Hindi ko buong masasabi ang mga ito dahil sa kailangang maganap ang dapat na maganap, I know your future, and tolding it to you may cause harm to the universe." Saad nito.

"What? What do you mean? And anong espesyal ang pinagsasabi mo? Nothing is sepcial to me. I am just a normal water user from water clan, what makes me special about that?" Xyra genuinely said.

"Yun na nga, you're a water user, but can you explain the phemomenas that's been happening to you this past days?" Pabalik na tanong ni Fiery.

Napaisip naman si Xyra, Fiery's words slaps her. Ipinakita nito sa kanya ang tunay na nangyayari sa kanya at mga binabalewalang kaganapan sa kanya. From the thing that she can talk to Chronus, the titan of time, the one that she accidentally saw her Sir Landers' Future with Heather. And, the activation of her sixth senses.

"Do you think it is normal for a water user to have these kind of powers Xyra? You see, hindi mo dapat ito babalewalain. I am here to warn you, start exploring who you really are. The universe needs you. And I need you Xyra!" Then a light coming from the surface where Xyra washed her causing her to wake up in her physical body.

Meanwhile, while Xyra is taking to Fiery, Lander and Aya brought Xyra to the clinic and reported to the Headmaster what just happened. At nang magising si Xyra, bumungad sa kanya ang Headmaster na nagtataka ang tingin.

Xyra's POV

"Headmaster." Saad ko ng makita ang maamong mukha ni Headmaster. Bata pa siya and he is good.

Then naalala ko ang nangyari sa akin. Should I believe her? Lumingon ako kay Headmaster na hindi gumagalaw. What —

"Xyra." A manly voice I heard from the hourglass beside my bed. Chronus.

"Anong ginagawa mo dito?" Tanong ko.

"I know that you interact with Fiery, truly, you're a very special one. Pero dapat ako ang tulungan mo at hindi siya. She didn't even exist. She is a forgotten deity." Narinig kong napatawa si Chronus sa sariling saad niya.

"Anong ibig mong sabihin?" Tanong ko rito.

"Why not find it on yourself, Lyra!" Chronus laughed evily.

What? And did he just said, Lyra? Am I a —

"No, impossible. I can't be!"
