The group walked back on the train tracks after the near death experience. Everything was still shaken up. Cassidys shoes where killing her. She had platform shoes. At this point she didn't even plan on going on the date anymore.

"Guys who cares who have to go!" Max tried to get the boys to stop fighting. The teens where all fighting now. "Middle school drama" Cassidy laughed under her breath. Steve noticed something and started walking towards it. "Guys?" He tried call their attention "Guys!" Cassidy yelled. The screeching noise got louder

The started walking on fields of grass. The boys leading the way with the flashlights. Steve led the way through the woods. They had heard a car park near by "Hello!" A guy's voice shouted "Stay quiet! try not to rustle" Steve said motioning for them to follow "Cass stay next to me" He scowled passing her a flashlight too

"Steve, Cassidy!" Nancy and Jonathan shouted shocked at their appearance "What are you doing here?" Steve approached them "We're looking for might and Will." Dustin started asking questions as screeching in the distance got louder. The group started bickering on when they last saw Will.

"The powers back" Nancy noticed, Jonathan and Dusting trying to open the gates. The doors started opening after awhile. Nancy and Jonathan and decided to drive their car through as they spotted commotion happening. The rest of Steves group stayed behind.

Two cars started coming full speed at them. As hopper stopped. "Lets go" He let them in. "Cassidy didn't know you got back in town" Hopper tried making small talk "Yeah got back last week" She caught her breath

Hopper ended up driving them to the Byers house. Steve and Cassidy stood next to eachother as the kids sat around the table. Cassidy walked over to Nova holding her chair for balance "We can't stop these Demo-dogs on our own" Everyone gave Dustin a look "Demo-dogs?"

"Demogorgon dogs. Demo-dogs. Its a compound"

"His army" Mike came to realization as no one caught up "What?" They all said in unison "His army. If we stop him we can stop his army too"

Mike ran over and showed them a drawing "It attacked Will. it infected him like a virus" Mike explained, as they started making connections and realizations "What?" They instantly got confused again. Dustin got out a book which explained what a mind flayer what. Every was standing around the table listening to whatever Dustin had to teach

Everyone was taking sides arguing on what to do"We have to kill it." Joyce announced "But how we do we do that?"

Cassidy was trying her best to keep up with the information. As she spared glances at the clock waiting for it to hit 9. "He cant spy if he doesn't know where he is" Hopper made everyone run rounds around the house collecting materials to help them with the plan. Cassidy was helping tape things onto the wall. They couldn't leave a trace exposed.

Hopper strictly instructed everyone to go inside. Cassidy noticed Nova with Max. and decided to go sit on the sofa. Cassidy decided to convince Steve to play rock paper scissors to pass time.

Hopper quickly came barging through the back door "I think he's talking, but not with words" Hopper explained. Everyone was working together to spell out the morse code. It spelled 'close gate' but they interrupted by the phone ringing. Nancy grabbed the phone and ripped it off the wall.

They could hear the Demogorgons screeching again. Hopper told them to stay away from the windows and handed Nancy a gun. Everyone had weapons in their hands prepared for what might come next. They all screamed as the Demogorgon flew through the window. Everyone check to make sure it was dead before their attention turned over to the front door.

A girl she knew by the name of "El" walked in. Cassidy introduced herself to El. and it went well? Nova mumbled a simple 'hi' which she returned. Max tried to talk to her but simply got ignored.

Cassidy was outside with Steve. As everyone was separating. Steve and 'his kids' where staying behind. Somehow Cassidy was now considered one of his kids.

"Cute Steve has a new kid. A little demogorgon" Cassidy mocked as Steve was holding a demogorgon wrapped in a blanket

Cassidy moved on to picking up any objects that can harm the kids. "My point is- yeah were on the bench theres nothing we can do"

"Well the things we can do are probably gonna end up with us dying" Cassidy shrugged as they looked at her with scared expressions "If we get their attention maybe we can draw them from the lab"

Cassidys eyes flicked to the clock as she realized it was already nine. She hopped Billy wouldn't mind. "No. We will all die!"

"See steve is right for once!" Nova sided with the older boys "Thank you! this is why your my favorite Connelly" Cassidy gasped dramatically "Im so gonna kill you Harrington!"

"Stop! Your getting off topic!" Mike yelled "Thats one point of you" Steve crossed his arms "Not a point of view. thats a fact"

Mike started pacing around the house pointing at the picture explaining what each place does. "Guys" Steve tried to protest "I swear they do the opposite of what we say"
