"Wake up Dominic!" my mom says as she turns on the light. I groan and roll over onto my stomach. Where's Belladonna? I open my eyes and push myself up off the bed. She must've gone back to her room sometime, but I wish I could've woke up with her. Standing up I realize I have morning wood, so maybe it's a good thing she isn't here. I shower and as I'm getting ready Ella doesn't seem to leave my mind. When I'm done I decide to check if Ella's still getting ready. Knocking on her door before I enter I can't hear any noise. When I don't hear a reply I cautiously open the door to see if she's in, and looking around I can't see her, so I just close the door and take the elevator down. As I enter the kitchen, I can hear laughing. My mom is sitting on one side of the island while Ella is on the other side.
"Morning Ella, morning mom," I say as I kiss my mom's cheek.
"Good morning sleeping beauty, Belladonna and I were just talking." she says as she brings a plate of potatoes and eggs over.
"I see, not scheming are you mother?" I say with a knowing smirk. She just smirks back and her eyes twinkle, and Ella lets out a giggle.
"Of course not! Ella and I were just talking about… the chandelier!" she says after a small pause.
"Right, the chandelier." I say incredulously.
"We were, don't be so untrusting Dominic," Ella says with another little giggle.
"You should take her advice, she's a smart girl. You two better go now or else you're going to be late!" my mom says, grabbing our plates and giving me a little shove.
"I barely got to eat anything!" I whined and grabbed my backpack.
"You practically wolfed down the whole plate! You're starting to sound more like Rowdy everyday!" my mom replies and you can hear the clanking of the dishes being placed in the sink. I just roll my eyes at her comment and follow Ella out the door. The ride to school was silent, and not the awkward kind. It was a nice silence; the one you could just sit for hours in. Ella just made everything seem right. Wow Dominic, way to sound like a little boy. Sighing as we pull up to the school, I grab my bag from the back. Ella and I meet up at the front of my car and walk into the building together. Looking around it seems as if the whole school has stopped what they're doing to look at us. I smile a little knowing what a powerful couple we will make. Thinking about that I wonder how and when I should ask her. It seemed too soon right now, so I'll give it a bit more. She stops at her locker and grabs some books, which I of course take for her. I walk her to her class and hand the books to her, my dad always raised me to be a gentleman.
"Thanks Dominic, I'll see you at lunch." she says. For a moment she looks as if she's debating something, and then she places a quick kiss on my cheek. Before I can even respond she's in her class. Shaking my head I turn around and bump into someone, Rowdy.
"Oh hey boo boo! Are you gonna walk me to class and carry my books?" Rowdy teases me in a high-pitched voice.
I roll my eyes at him and punch his shoulder, "Shut up. At least I can get a girl with my personality, unlike someone."
"Who needs a good personality with these dashing good looks? And I think you confused personality and money, title, looks-"
"Rowdy, stop. You make her sound like Loraine." I say, mentally shuddering at the thought of Ella like Loraine.
"And who's to say she's not. Sure as hell reminds me of her." he retorts.
"I am. Now what's up with you? I though you two were on good terms?" I ask confused.
"We're fine. That doesn't mean I want her getting close to you." he says. I don't think I've ever seen him stay serious for that long.
"To me it sounds like your jealous."
