Alexo and Ajax were lying on the floor of the small stone shed.
Doctors were doing their best to help put Ajax's leg back in place.
"We must pray to Asclepieia for his help." King Aethlius said.
The doctors began to pray, leaving Ajax alone as he tried to keep his pain beneath. Not wanting to scream out.
Alexo continued to lay motionless, not able to move anything except for his eyes darting around quickly.
After they finished praying, the doctors took stones and put them around Ajax's broken leg. Ajax looked around when another stone was put between his teeth. The doctors gripped the stones and held them in place when two more grabbed hammers.
"Are you ready for your treatment?" The doctor asked Ajax.
Ajax nodded while biting down onto the stone.
The doctor nodded, the two doctors swinging their hammers hard and smashing into the rocks around his leg.
His leg suddenly snapped back into place, causing Ajax to bite down and shatter the rock with his teeth before sitting up in an instant. A loud scream filled the small shed, causing everyone to cover their ears.
"Alright, now that he is back to health, let us..." The doctor started as he turned to Alexo.
Alexo was sitting up, rubbing the back of his neck with a pained grunt.
The doctors dropped their hammers and stared in shock as Alexo turned to look back at them.
"What?" He asked.
Ajax looked confused.
King Aethlius didn't seem too confused or bothered, just shrugging and making his way towards the door.
"Now that you are both healed, let us prepare for the feast!" He shouted.
The doctors were still confused and frozen in shock.
Alexo got to his feet unbothered and good to go, while Ajax tried to do the same but struggled to stand on his still pain filled leg.
"Don't worry, I got you." Alexo said as he went to put himself under Ajax's arm, helping him walk out of the shed.
Once they made it outside, Ajax looked at the man next to him.
"Who are you?" Ajax asked.
Alexo looked at him with a raised eyebrow.
"I am Alexo." He replied.Ajax sighed and winced in pain.
"No...I mean...what are you?" Ajax asked.
"I am just a man." Alexo replied.
"Bullshit." Ajax said.
He pushed Alexo away before dropping to the ground, his leg still unable to support his weight as he gasped and yelped.
Alexo held his hand out towards him, but Ajax slapped it away.
"I would not lie to you. I am a simple man who just wishes to help those who need it. I will not be judged beyond that." Alexo said.
Ajax chuckled as he forced himself back to his foot, limping with his bad leg.
"Whatever you say. But we must prepare to head towards the Pylians." Ajax said while still limping.
"You are staying here until you are healthy. I shall travel on my own." Alexo said.
Ajax laughed.
