8. Four times

"You bastard! You almost killed me!" "Almost."
These tests were crazy! Pan had indeed said that the way to the well would not be easy, but now I was sure that I had almost died three times. The first was when we swam down into a cave to even reach the beginning our jurny. Two mermaids had tried to drown me. The second was when I almost fell into a deep hole in the cave. A third time when Pan got so angry that he almost slammed my skull in the mountin wall and now a fourth when our true purpose was "tested".
So I was wrong. I had almost died four times.
"We almost died because of you!" "Almost! I handeld it."
"Crushing the obstacle and almost dying isn't handeling it!"
What was he up to now?
I knew he never wanted to help me get my brother back, but when his secrets started affecting my quest, that was bad.

"Either you tell me or I go on alone!" "Sure Princess."
"I'm serius! I'll leave you and you'll never even see the well."
"Fine!"
Seriously, that easy?
"My intentions may not be entirely pure, if you get Henry back....and I get to keep the heart, I can once again rule Neverland and we will never have to see each other again..."
"So, selfish intentions."
"Yes and."
"No no, I can work with that....But seriously if you cause more trouble I won't hesitate for a second!"
"Sure you won't Princess."

We continued walking in silence. The only light was the fire from Pan's hand and that was berly enough. The light danced on the cave walls and if it hadn't been for the circumstances it could have been quite beautiful. A romantic moment, but it wasn't like that, instead I was in a cold and unpleasant cave mountain thing. With Peter fucking Pan.
"Are we there yet."
"Can you stop asking! Soon I'll tell!" He had saide soon for what felt like 600 hours. But then it hit me,
Pan had never made it to the well. "You don't know where we're going!" "Yes."
"No!
"For fack sake. There's only one way to go so yes I do know Princess."
Okay, a sore point got it.

We walked and walked, but then finally, up ahead we saw light. In my excitement I ran ahead of Pan, and there it was. Covered in tendrils and flowers. The well!
I couldn't believe it, we were hear, I was going to get Henry back! After two days of pure hell, we arrived. I turned towards the opening in the mounten I had come out of and shouted.
"Pan! Pan it's here!"
He came running out of the mountain and took in the sight first, just like I had done.
"It's actually here."
He said to himself.
"Yes, but what do I do now??"
"The coin."
"The coin?"
Yes! The coin! Of course I needed it. I had almost forgotten about it, but now I put my hand in my pocket and pulled it out. I studied it for a second, it was copper, almost the size of my palm. Then I walked up to the edge of the well. I closed my eyes and focused on my wish, Henry, Henry, Henry, but just as I was about to toss the coin I heard a small splash. I snapped my eyes open and threw my coin in to the well, but it was too late.
The ground shook under my feet and thunderbolts formed in the sky. "What did you do!"
But he just smiled.
"What. Did. You. Do!"
"Oops, did I forget to mention. The well only grants one wish."
"What have you done!!"
"My wish that is Princess."
