When I woke up, I wasn't prepared for what I would have to see. I knew what it was, but still it hurt a little. Then standing up on the mountain, with Pan's arms around me, watching Jolly Roger and my family leave neverland was something that hurt deep inside me.
"How are you Princess?"
"Good....good."
"Don't lie to me, I know it hurts."
"It..it does."
"It's okay love, I'll make it better. I promise."~~~~~~~~~~~~♤♤Pan♤♤~~~~~~~~~~~~
She had finally chosen me. The day I had been waiting for had finally arrived. She was all mine, for real this time. She had chosen me, no curse, just a wish, a wish to redo everything from the beginning.
"How about we go back down?"
"No."
"No?"
"I want to stay a little while longer, take in all the beauty....and make sure they've gone."
"Okay Princess we'll stay as long as you want."
I was glad she had her back to me, it seemed she couldn't see the smile on my lips.
I had won.~~~~~~~~~~~~♡♡y/n♡♡~~~~~~~~~~~~
"We can go now."
He said nothing. He just hugged me for a second and then took my hand and started walking down the mountain. In the camp there were no signs of what had just taken place. Some lost boys were sitting around the camp doing god knows what while others were out looking for food.
"How are you?"
"You already asked me that."
I met his gaze and he raised an eyebrow just as if to say and. So even though I could probably guess the answer, I said.
"What?"
"Nothing, nothing. You're just different, or you're not yourself." "That's literally what different means!"
"Okay Princess calm down."
"I am calm!"
"No you're not."
He actually laughed at me!
"If you calm down, I can show you something."
"Show me what?"
"You'll see."
So I took a deep breath and nodded.
"I am calm."
He smiled at me, took a firm grip around my waist and the last thing I heard before his green mist surrounded us was.
"Close your eyes."
So I did.As I felt the grip his mist had on us loosen, I asked cautiously.
"Can I open my eyes now?"
"Not yet!"
He loosened his grip on me slightly and gently guided me towards something. And then we stopped. "Now you can open them!"
I blinked a few times to get used to the light, but I didn't understand anything.
"A tree?"
Pan looked almost shocked.
"Not just a tree Princess, my thinking tree!"
He looked at me just as if I would magically understand why the tree was so important.
"And?"
"And! This is my thinking tree! The place I go when I want to be alone and--, you're the first human I've ever brought here!"
"Ohhh."
"Ohhh?! I really thought you'd have more of a reaction."
"Yes, or no it's just...I'm just overwhelmed, thank you."
"I see. But it's not the tree itself that's important."
"No?"
"It's what it represents! I want you to find a place where you can feel completely safe too. Neverland is your home now!"
Although Pan was probably trying to be kind, it still hurt when he reminded me of my choice. But that was exactly what it had been, my choice. I miss my home, my Storybrooke, but there was one thing I had to do first.
One thing I would do tonight.Same as every night the boys danced around the fire, but my thoughts were elsewhere. I stood up and walked over to Pan.
"I know where my place is."
"Yeah?"
"Yes, up on the mountain and there is no one else I want to share it with but you."
"You flatter me Princess."
"Can we go there?"
"Now?"
"Yes."
He looked around, shook his head a little and shrugged.
"I don't see why not."
So once again Pan used his powers to get us to the top of the mountain in no time.I turned away to take in just for a second the glorius view of the starry sky mirroring in the water. Then I turned back to Pan and without warning I kissed him. It was a short kiss and when I pulled away our eyes met.
"Ohhh."
"Good or bad?"
"Very good Princess."
Without warning he pressed his lips to mine again and as his hands traveled further down, mine were pressed to his chest. He started unbuttoning my pants, but I was focused on something else entirely.
And then I succeeded. In mere seconds I had ripped his heart out of his chest and backed away from him.
"Princess?"
"Doesn't feel good huh? Being tricked."
"I have never tricked you."
Ha! I actually laughed.
"Haven't you! Your wish could have worked, but you didn't count on one little thing?"
"What?"
He spat out.
"True Love's Kiss."
He looked at me for a moment before I realized.
"Not you! My mom! Seriously, you should have learned the first time." "Impossible."
"True love conquers all! Snow and Charming taught me that."
He looked like he was going to attack me at any second, but before he could I squeezed his heart tightly. The pain forced him to his knees and with my free hand I took out a bean from my pocket. The bean that had been there since I tried to escape the second time. Before his cursed wish.
"You'll go to hel for this!"
"Then I'll see you there."
I threw the bean on the ground and the last thing I said to him was. "Goodbye you bastard!"
And then I jumped. Then I stood again on a street in Storybrooke. With only the street lamps and the moonlight for light. But one thing was different, this time my fist was full of gray glittering dust and this time I knew for sure that Pan wouldn't come after me.
"See you in the hel."
Was all I whispered as I slowly let the dust run out of my fist and I started walking home.I had won.

This is where our story officially ends. If you're disappointed with the ending, I'm open to writing an alternate one at some point.
