"Do you have everything you need for work? We should try to get there a little earlier this time." I asked. "Yeah, do you want me to drive today?" He replied, earning a nod from me. We got in the car and were soon on our way.

David's pov

"Rowan, could I just have some money and go in by myself? I'll get you the usual too." I asked her, watching as she grabbed her wallet and pulled out $20. "Be quick please, David." She said as I nodded. I hopped out of the car and quickly grabbed some stuff when I got a notification on my phone. I opened it to see that Rowan had posted a new pic on Instagram. I liked it and of course commented the necessary, usual sibling slander.

Rowan's pov

I quickly posted the picture and waited for David to come back. Grabbing my headphones, I put them in and listened to some music, hoping it would make time pass faster. Unfortunately, it didn't do much, but at least I had some good music to listen to while I waited. I looked up into the store windows, smiling when I saw David walking towards the door.

He walked towards the car, opening the door and quickly opened his mouth to speak. "Now I know I took a little longer than usual, but I really wanted an Icee.." He said, with a guilty look on his face. "It's fine, just give me my stuff and lets hurry." I replied, and with that, we were back on track to get to work.

I know it took a while, but I've been so busy with everything. Next time I'll try to update faster but no promises 😭
