Chapter 2

2 Years...

It has been that long since the death of Izuku Midoriya...

Time flies fast...it felt like it hasn't been that long since he had died...but they were wrong about that...

Many Nikke's and the CEO's still miss him, but they have slowly learned to move on and have focused in rebuilding society the way it was

Unfortunately, even if it has already been 2 years, there is still little progress in restoring the surface, as there was still too much damage on the Earth...yes, the Earth is slowly starting to have life again...but for it to be back the way it was? It would still take a really long time before that would happen

Another thing that was unfortunate was the fact that Izuku's wish was sort of...faded away

The people have slowly but surely began to start discriminating and hating them again...even though they have done nothing wrong to them...in fact all the Nikke's have done is help them, as  for the past 2 years, all they have done is help with the Ark and the Surface...

Which once again...makes them remember Izuku

Thankfully the CEO's have been doing their best to defend the Nikke's and convince the people to trust Nikke's and treat them as their equal, some have listened and some have not...

But even when some people listened, they still didn't treat them nicely, so in the end, its as if nothing has changed, and things were just the same as before...

In the Outpost...

"Is something wrong, Anis?" Neon asked, noticing that her friend looked angry

"Oh its nothing...just got forced to go back here when all I was doing was buy some soda...the moment I entered the store, the people in there were forcing me to get out and leave" Anis said

"Oh I see...it's still sad that Master's wish seemed to be forgotten" Neon said

"The only one that clearly remembers that wish is the Nikke's, Syuen, Ingrid, Mustang, Burninghum and Andersen...every other human still treats us the same...just some scrap heap..."  Anis said

"But why? We haven't fought any Raptures for over 2 years...do they still think we are war-killing machines?" Neon asked

"Either that, they think we're scrap heap or we're just sex dolls...but it seem no matter what, they will never treat us like a human..." Anis said

"Yeah...it makes me sad...and it really makes me miss Master...he was the only one to ever treat us nice...and to show care and concern for us..." Neon said, Anis sighs

"Yeah...I miss him too...even if its been 2 years, the pain of him being gone still hasn't gone away" Anis said

"Don't you just miss him because he bought the soda for you?" Neon asked

"You make it sound like I only miss him for that...yes I do kinda miss that, but thats not the only reason...you're making me sound like such a jerk...I'm sure you also miss him a lot because he is the only one thats comfortable with you when talking about firepower" Anis said

"Yeah...I really do..." Neon said

"But still...you know out of everyone...theres one Nikke that is still really weighed down by the guilt..." Anis said

"Speaking of which, where is she? After she helped out with moving some of the stuff, she said she had to go somewhere and she hasn't come back since" Neon asked

"I think I know where she is...wanna head over there?" Anis asked

"Sure, it's not like we have anything to do right now" Neon said as the two Nikkes make their way...
