"Muichiro, wait-!" I said as he dragged me like a child holding on to a doll. "What do you mean by plans? We haven't even met up in a while!"
Muichiro stopped in his tracks and turned around. "Can't you get a clue for once? That nincompoop was bugging me. Who even is she anyways.." he trailed off.
"Oh!" I muttered, but said nothing more. We kept on walking until we stopped right in front of a restaurant.
The bell chimed as we both walked into the small place. A kind looking old woman greeted us.
"Hello! What would you two young couples like to order?" She uttered.
Muichiro looked at me, signaling me to speak first. "Uhm.. I would like.." I looked at the menu, squinting my eyes, "I would like to have (f/f), please."
The woman took out her pen and notepad and started writing my order. "Anything else?" She looked at Muichiro.
"The uhm.. uh- simmered radish dressed in miso soup." He bluntly stated.
"Ah! Furofuki daikon, you have great taste." The old waitress warmly smiled as she wrote it down on her notepad. "Anything else? What about drinks?"
I squinted at the menu plastered on top of the counter in front of us. "(F/d), please."
"And what about you?" She asked.
"Water." Muichiro muttered. The woman grinned and left without a word. Muichiro and I found a table for two and sat down.
"Wait, wait.. didn't she assume we were a couple?" I asked, starting a conversation with him.
"Let it be. Look, we get free mochi." He pointed to the sign behind me, and reading the sign, it said that couples get a discount and a free mochi from the restaurant.
I hummed in reply and looked out the window, waiting for our food.
Suddenly, the bell chimed, catching my attention. In walked a familiar girl, a hashira, in fact.
