It had been over six years since they last saw each other. You would think they would be over each other long ago.
Times became tough, especially for him.
But she was happy, content, dating a few guys when she got the time but work was always first priority. No one understood her situation, except him.

"He's been in a car accident" GR said as her voice cracked to every word she voiced. She saw the fear flash in Lea's eyes as she explained the situation.
"Who?" Lea dared ask. She knew it was him, but she didn't want it to be him. She didn't want to believe it was him. It can't be him.
"Aga. He's fighting for his life." Lea froze. All their memories flashed before her eyes, as she closed them. She willed away the tears. She didn't wanna let herself cry, she wanted to be okay.
"Lea.. Do you want to see him?" GR asked. Knowing deep down she did but Lea would fight tooth and nail trying to deny it.
"No, I don't. He's got someone else to look over him--" Lea stated sternly, meron na siyang Charlene.
"But Le--" GR insisted, she needed Lea to crack.
"I said no, and that is final" she remarked and left her best friend in the room, alone.
"But Lea, they broke up. A long time ago" GR whispered to herself. "Why can't she see they're made for one another?"
Lea saw the unopened package from Aga that she received three days ago. She didn't want to open it, she wanted to burn it. She didn't want any memory of him anymore because she didn't see why or what the reason was to do so. She didn't want the heartache to resurface. She didn't want to face herself that she couldn't love him.
Staring at the box, she grabbed a pair of scissors deciding to finally open it.
"What could be possibly be in this box?" She thought to herself as she struggled to get the box open. It was sealed shut. She could tell Aga never had any help with his wrapping skills after they broke up.
She still remembered the one Christmas he gave her a gift and it was taped about twenty times because he claimed the tape kept folding onto itself and sticking but she knew he just wasn't capable of wrapping well.
Reminiscing at the thought, she smiled softly.
Memories: old pictures, old love letters, everything looked familiar. She smiled and remembering the little vivid memories as she picked up every item in the box. Tears falling down her cheek every now and then. But one thing was unusual.
A new letter with the envelope sealed shut stamped, ready to mail, it was addressed to Lea. Does she dare open the letter? She hesitated and left the letter unopened and let it sit on her desk as she shuffle through the box again.
Pulling out more pictures and memories, Lea found an envelope with a CD inside. She picked it up, debating on whether to listen to it.
Quickly she headed to her TV and popped it into the disc player. It was a video of him. The sound of his voice echoed through the room.
Tears graced her cheeks as his voice floated through the air. The lyrics touching her heart and breaking them. She knew the song was about them but she wished so much it wasn't because no one should have that much heartache.
" There was a road we never took
But through my eyes see how it looks
It was everything I know, we could've been
