Eda and Lilith were at the park waiting for their friends, they knew eda was there, and very excited to see her. They were sitting on the grass, while Lilith was reading, and eda on her phone.
With little to no warning at all, she was attacked, as noa pounced on her. "eda you bitch!" He yelled. Eda and noa wrestled for a bit, before now had eda down. "Heyy.. I'm home" eda muttered with a guilty smile. "Noa! Jeez dude, dont kill the girl" Darius scoffed. "Yes.pleease dont kill me" eda agreed. Noa got off eda, and let her get up. Eda sat up, laughing a bit. "Damn, I didn't know me leaving would make you so mad" eda joked. Noa, sighed, rolling their eyes. "You do some stupid shit again and I'm kicking your ass" he scowled.
Eda chuckled, and muttered. "Sorry.. " noa looked at her and sighed, then wrapped her in a tight hug. Darius sat down next to lilith. "does Raine know?" He asked. "Yep, edalyn told me they saw her a couple days ago" Lilith replied, then showed him the video she found on the internet of their reunion. Darius watched it then scoffed. "Some old people posted this, look at the hashtags" he said. Lilith nodded in sympathy.
Soon, Raine arrived soon, and immediately hugged eda tight, dispute seeing her a few days ago. "Rainestorm! Get off me you fool!" Eda scolded playfully. Raine blushed, and kept her in their arms. "Nope, this is what happens when you leave for so long" they remarked. Lilith and Darius exchanged knowing looks while smirking. "20 bucks they hook up some time this month" Darius whispered. "Your on" Lilith replied.
Within minutes everything was the way it used to be, they were all laughing, and joking around together just like they would in college. Eda told them stories of all the places she went in the comfort of Raines lap. In all honesty she didn't really notice they had put her there, until they wrapped and arm around her stomach. Eda looked back at them, wondering when they had gotten so bold.
Eda remembered all the times Raine wouldn't dare grab any part of her body other than her hand when with other people around. And even then, they silently asked to hold her when they were alone. So to someone who didn't know them, it often looked like eda initiated all physical contact such as cuddling. "Eda? You good, girlie?" Noa asked out of the blue. Eda looked up suddenly, them hummed. "Hm?" She looked embarrassed, but then quickly collected herself. Or as she thought of it, as masking.
It was rare to see edas true emotions but she was so good at acting you could hardly tell she was acting. "Oh, uh, yeah, completely lost my train of thought there.. " eda said in a small chuckle, then slowly moved herself off Raines lap, and closer to her sister. They didn't say anything because that was normal, and eda and Lilith were very close. "You know what, Lilith, whats the date?" Eda asked suddenly. "Uhm.. The 29th" Lilith muttered. Eda gasped excitedly, then stood up. "Okay! Then let's do something crazy! It's a leap year!" Eda beamed. Raine chuckled seeing her so excited, "eda, who gives a damn about a leap year?" Darius scoffed. "The men you fuck, that's who, now shut the hell up" eda remarked. "Girl I will literally kick your ass" Darius scowled. "I don't fight bottoms" eda replied with sass. Darius glared at her, while noa was snickering.
Darius looked at eda annoyed. "Eda I swear" her sighed. "Whatever your room smell like again? " eda asked, while looking at her nails. "Bitch, febreze" Darius answered. "I smelled cottage cheese and ass" eda remarked. Lilith had to stop herself from laughing Hiding her smile with the book she was reading. "You should get an astro-glide for your room" eda said with a smirk. "BITCH FUCK YOU. YOU CAN'T EVEN SPELL ASTRO GLIDE" Darius yelled. "A-S-T-R-O! YOU ARE A BOTTOM AND A HOE" eda yelled back. Raine finally stood up while holding back laughter, and grabbed her by her waist. "Calamity please, your killing me" they muttered through laughter.
Eda rolled her eyes while smirking at her best friend. "Noa was dying of laughter, while Lilith was struggling to stay civil. " eda I swear, one of these days someone will humble you" he scowled. "I'm amazing, nobody can humble me" eda scoffed, and, leaned I to Raines arms. Eda and Darius's argument went on for an hour before Lilith stopped it.
When Raine went home that day, they were pleasantly surprised to see their mother therexand it wasn't uncommon for her to let herself in their apartment. "Hey mom! You know you cant keep breaking in right?" Raine asked jokingly. Teach scoffed. "You broke in my uterus, your apartment is fine" she responded. Raine laughed a little, then eda popped in their head. "Oh! Eda is back in town" Raine beamed, knowing Tracy loved eda like a daughter. "No kidding!? Where'd that casy girl run off to?" Tracy asked, while leaning on the counter. Raine chuckled, then said. "She went to a couple different places actually, but I just wish she would of at least called" Raine muttered. "Sounds off to me, sounds like she's running from something" Tracy mentioned. "No way, why would she be running from something?" Raine asked. "Thats only something she knows, but it's just a bunch, so are you going to ask her out?" Tracy asked with a smile. Raine blushed slightly. "I don't know maybe? I'm just not sure if she's interested in me" Raine sighed. "Well she might be, or she might not, either way you just have to learn to accept it and move on, kid" Tracy said, she was always wise, and Raine literally never knew why.
