3. Good bye

Last night Lucy and I just slept on the two mattresses I have, but left them in the living room. We were to tired and just didn't care. I woke up before Lucy so I decided to be a good best friend and wake her up...

"LUCY!" I yell. She immediately sprung up and looks around finding I'm perfectly fine.

"Asshole." She mutters into her pillow as she flops back down.

"Come on you big baby your flight leaves in 2 hours and I wanna get food." I say and pull her up with ease.

"You're so annoying."she says and tries to hide the smile making its way onto her face but she fails.

"Ya. Ya. Whatever get done I wanna eat." I say with a laugh and head towards my bathroom where I left my toiletries. I hear Lucy laugh before I walk in. I grab my contact case and put my contacts in.

I grab my tooth brush and tooth paste and brush my teeth. I put deodorant on once I finish and then grab my perfume.

I go to a random box that has my clothes in it and take out a pair of black cargo pants and a gray Nike sweatshirt. I decide to just wear my high top blazers and I grab my usual chains as well. Once I'm done I go and stand beside the island and wait for Lucy which doesn't take long as she walk out wearing something similar to me.

"Do you have everything packed?" I ask.

"Yup." She says and pulls her two suitcases out from behind her.

"Okay let's go. Did you decide where we should eat?" I ask as I grab one of her suitcases to help her.

*time skip*

There are so many cars here. Is everyone traveling right now? I park my car and walk into the airport with Lucy. We make it security and Lucy turns around and looks at me.

"I'll miss you. You know?" She says.

"I'll miss you to Luce. You better get going though your flight boards soon." I say.

"Ya.." Lucy says with a sigh.

"Text me when you land. Yeah?" I say and Lucy nods.

"You'll do great. I love you." She says and gives me a big hug wrapping her arms around my waist. There's very few people I'll give hugs to or be even the slightest bit affectionate with. But Lucy is one of them.

"You will to Lucy. Go kick some ass." I say as we break away from our hug. She turns and leaves with a wave.

As I walk back out to my car I think of all we've accomplished together. We both stared playing at man city around the same time even though there's a few years difference between us we just became friends quick. At the time I also played for England and we played so well together. We always have. We were known as this dynamic duo. But it's time for the next chapter. Maybe we'll play together again someday...

*time skip*

I finished unpacking everything and I've started to decorate the place. Now all I have left is to get food to fill the fridge and sign my contract tomorrow.

I grab my box full of pictures and decide to make a picture wall in the entry way. I start pinning up all my picture and soon enough all the picture are up and half the wall is covered from picture with my family to picture with teammates and friends. Once I'm done I take a minute to look at all the pictures. So many memories.

I haven't had any training in 2 days because of this move so I decide to use my little home gym and get a nice little upper body workout in.

As I'm doing dumbbell curls my phone starts ringing. I stop my music and pick my phone up.

"Lotte?" I whisper to myself and answer the FaceTime . Usually she calls later in the day.

"Hey sis!" Lotte says as her face appears on my screen.

"Hey Lotts what's up?" I say as I wipe my forehead of sweat.

"Are you really working out right now?" Lotte says with a laugh.

"Ya?" I say more so as a question.

"Isn't it your day off?" Lotte says amused.

"Lotte you know me better than this." I say teasing.

"Ya. Ya. Oh wait guess what happened today..." Lotte and I continued to talk as I worked out. Lotte having training tomorrow we decided it was best if we went to bed. Tomorrow's a big day. Onto the next chapter. I have a feeling this one's gonna be special.
