I was currently getting ready because sky and I decided we would spend the day together since we were both off, our first stop was our favorite thrift store since they had a restock and I was on the hunt for a vintage leather jacket. I was wearing a basic outfit, a brown tank top, blue jorts and my uggs. Sky matched my comfy aesthetic and also coordinated her outfit colors. Matching with my girlfriend was something that just made my heart so happy.
I was currently fixing up my edges and applying that last touches to my makeup, as I see my girlfriend walk up behind me through the reflection of the mirror, wrapping her arms around me. "hi baby". I said leaning into her. "hi my love" she said eyeing me through the mirror. "what??" I said laughing at how she was in a literal trance "you're just so beautiful, can I not admire?". I turned around in her arms, placing a kiss on her lips. "No I never said you couldn't admire, I was just going to suggest you take a picture they last longer". I walked around a speechless sky and went to grab my bag "are you ready to go baby?". I called out. Sky emerged from the bathroom and grabbed her phone and keys, before leading me outside to the car.
We got in the car, and I quickly grabbed the aux because sky's playlist didn't really do it for me sometimes, but I didn't have the heart to tell her, she always got so hyped to it. I turned on my playlist with my fav pop and r&b girlies, "read your mind" by sabrina carpenter began blaring through the speakers. Sky intertwined our hands and we began our drive to the coffee shop we were stopping at so I could get matcha before we went to the thrift store.
After about 30 minutes of driving and screaming the lyrics to a mix of reneé rapp, sabrina carpenter, madison beer and gracie abrams, we finally arrived. Sky quickly ran into the cafe and grabbed the drink for me. She came back after a few minutes and got in the drivers seat handing me my drink. "thank you baby". She placed a soft kiss on my lips "of course my love, now off to the thrift store, I'm so excited to see what new pieces they have". I smiled at how cute she was and took a sip of my matcha, turning my music back up so we could jam out again.
After a couple minutes we made it to the thrift store. We got out of the car, sky intertwining our hands, as we made our way over to the door. As we walked in, silk chiffon by MUNA was playing in the background, it was a quiet day in the store only a few customers inside. I beelined towards the leather jackets, sky following behind as I searched for my dream brown leather jacket. After 10 minutes of intense searching through the racks I heard sky from the other side "baby look at this one". As she held up the exact brown leather jacket from my pinterest board. I went over to the side she was on "oh my god, sky that's perfect". She draped the jacket over her arm "can we go look at the jeans". She asked, now that I had found what I was looking for. "of course baby let's go". I said grabbing her hand and leading her to the side of the store with the denim.
After about an hour I had found the jacket, a denim skirt and some tops, sky finding two pairs of jeans and some shirts as well. We decided to call it a day and paid for our items before leaving to go find a place to eat lunch.
After a few google searches we decided on a small brunch spot about 5 minutes from the thrift store. Once we got there we made our way inside. There wasn't a wait so we were quickly seated and I started scanning the menu. I had decided on the breakfast sandwich and another matcha, it had truly become an addiction. "baby what are you having" I asked sky placing down my menu. "I think I am going to get the omelette and an iced coffee, what about you". I picked up her menu placing it at the end of the table with mine "I decided on the breakfast sandwich and a matcha". She laughed "baby you are gonna turn into matcha, this is your second one and it's not even 11am". I playfully pouted at her "I knowww it's just so good". We continued our conversation until the waiter came and took our orders. This restaurant was fast because we had our food like 10 minutes later, and let me just say it was good as fuck. My matcha was inhaled and so was the breakfast sandwich.

After paying for our food we decided to go home, since we were going to spend the rest of our day binge watching the L word. Once we made it home the first thing I did was change into comfier clothes. Then while sky changed I got out a tray and made us a snack charcuterie board. Once she was finished we cuddled up on the couch, my cat nala coming to join. Sky picked up the remote turning on the show. I was entranced in the show, we had just started rewatching so jenny was currently cheating on tim with marina and while marina was toxic, straight jenny was boring so I am eating every second of it up.
After about half of the episode I felt like sky was staring, so I quickly glanced in my peripheral to see her paying no attention to the screen her eyes glued to me "baby, what are you looking at". I said smirking. She quickly turned her head back to the screen "nothinggg". I pulled her chin so her eyes were locked on mine "it's ok baby, I didn't say you had to stop". She leaned in connecting our lips "mmm I wasn't planning on it". The kiss deepened, soon I was straddling sky and her hands were on my waist pulling me closer to her. Let's just say this episode was going to have to be rewatched again.
