Chapter 5 | The Price Of Gold
____________________

In certain urges magic that burned through the universe is unbreakable towards whoever is faced upon it. The temptation was unavoidable and unpredictable, quite literally a force to be reckoned with. It was inevitable that magic did always come at a price.

Even when casted upon pure hearted girl that has had a tragic past that was cursed to live as a burden in her Step Mother's and Step Sister's shadow after her father and mother passed. Would have done anything, for just a speck of happiness which only led her to come to pass of her great mistake. Then it was clear that anyone can be tempted into the dark arts of magic.

Guilt swept through Cinderella's mind, clutching her hand on the contract that she had for the Dark One to sign. Desperately wanting nothing more to give her baby a good life. One that was token away from Cinderella once her Step Mother and Siblings entered her life.

Prince Charming on the other hand assembled the guards at every corner of the garden. Having faith in stopping Rumplestiltskin from wreaking havoc on yet another innocent victim. Then he gave a nod for Thomas to take his position.

His strong and serious facial expression turned into an immediate concerned one as he pressed his knuckle against his temple. "Miri" Charming whispered quickly yet with a hint of harshness in his tone, "you can't be here."

          "Grumpy said I could come."

Charming glanced over to Grumpy, that stood by the carriage that held that cage that would capture Rumplestiltskin. Which the Dwarf shot him a smug smile giving him a short lived wave. "Of course he did" the Prince grumbled.

"I thought I was in on the plan" Mirana spoke, defensively.

"M, I just didn't want you anywhere near this. It's dangerous."

"Then why are you here, huh?" Mirana lifted her brows in question. "Exactly—" Mirana was interrupted by Charming quickly grabbing on her waist spinning her around in front of him taking her down to the floor with him. Behind the bushes, therefore ensuring they won't get caught.

"Okay, ow—" Charming again stopped her from speaking once again by cover his hand on her mouth sat behind her. As both Mirana and Charming's eyes averted from one another upon hearing Rumplestiltskin's voice.

"Well, well, well.... Your starting to show" Rumplestiltskin's voice loomed the garden. "A little bird told me you wanted to speak."
