Both books are heavily inspired by the folk songs Too Far Away and Southern Star by Gregory Alan Isakov, which is also where those chapter titles come from. I almost called this book The Sailor Song, after the alt-pop song by Autoheart, but ended up going with Too Far Away because it was much more in-theme with the letters framing Season 1 Zuko's relationship with Song. As you begin reading the sequel, I would recommend listening to them, and The Sailor Song, on whatever music platform you have access to.
