My Cheating Husband

Prisha's POV

1 month has passed since I married my so called husband, Mr Nikhil Bhatia. We both were forced by our parents in this marriage but on our wedding night he handed over me a file which stated that our marriage will last only 1year and we shouldn't inform about our marriage to anyone. I badly wanted to inform my friend Myra about my marriage because she has always been with me in my ups and downs but I couldn't break the law of the contract because afterall I am a lawyer.
My brother ran away and married against my parents will. My parents were very upset because of this. My father is a businessman too and works in the same field as my 'husband'.
After my brother left, my father's business went in lose. We were about to become bankrupt when my 'husband' helped us. The shares were earlier in my brother's name but since he ran away my father decided that he would distribute the shares between me and my future husband. I hold 40% while my 'husband' holds 50% and the rest is with my father. My husband promised my father that once the business gets stabled, he would transfer his 10% shares to me and then we can divorce.

Marriage has become a game for all. In my 26 years of living, I never saw my parents so happy as compared to how they were on my wedding day. But nevermind, I don't have any feeling for that dumbass. I mean he is handsome and girls would drool over him but he isn't my type. I have a feeling that he is cheating on me but I don't give a damn. It’s his life and I have to just endure his drama for more 11 months.

I went to my office to find a couple waiting for me. Probably they are here for divorce. Yeah I am a divorce lawyer. There is a great scope in this field nowadays because people get divorced even at lame arguments.

"Hello. How may I help you." I asked the couple sitting in front of me.

"My name is Deepak and we have come here to file for divorce."

"Ok sir. May I know the reason."

"Our vibes don't match." The wife said.

Vibes don't match? Is that even a reason for divorce. Stupid people. Ok Prisha, calm down.

"And why do you think so." I asked trying to be calm.

"I love to watch horror movies while he watches action movies. He is diet freak and I love fast food. He likes cats and I like dogs. He even wakes up at 5.00 in the morning while I wake at 10.00" the wife said.

I rolled my eyes internally.

"I can't grant divorce for this reason. If you really want divorce then I advice you to stay away from each other for 2 months. Come back after 2 months and we can proceed further."

They went and I banged my head on my table.
