Since Gulltopr fell ill Leah changed her routine every sunrise to visit the big beast to apply ointment to his wounds and give a decoction of flowers plucked from the land of Alfheim, the beast felt better and better every day the shine of his coat returned every day and strength returned to his muscles. But still the beast did not feel well, but Leah's hope did not die soon it would feel better.
And so it was that day, sitting beside the great beast, which lay on its side cuddling in the warmth of the straw collected by the Midgardians, Leah applied ointment to its skin to seal the wounds it had acquired during Heimdall's last mission. Focusing on making the beast feel better, she didn't notice someone enter the stable
- Stake the big cat," burbled a male familiar voice walking toward the beast, which became animated at the voice of its master, "I have food for you. Your favorite, maybe it will make you recover faster," he continued unaware that besides him the stable and the beast also included Leah, "Because you are already worrying me about your condition. Come on don't tell this to anyone they will recognize that this is my weak point and then I will kill you," he threatened. But his tirade was interrupted as if he had to think about something
- No. I wouldn't do that I liked you too much," he stated as a last resort a large bucket of meat freshly hunted as Leah could guess fell in front of Gulltopra's nose, the beast moved closer to the red shapes sniffing it examining if it was fit to eat and if it wanted it at all, Leah felt Bifrost's pink and purple eyes being fixed on her. Tentatively she lifted her gaze to meet those eyes I said, they were staring at her and Heimdall's lips were parted
As if he had not anticipated that she would be here
He rested his hand on his hip and with the other pointed to the woman who was kneeling beside his mount - You heard nothing," he accused and the woman only raised her hands in a gesture of surrender saying nothing even smiling. But in her mind she could have laughed at the situation, but she couldn't, with Heimdall you can't think much, because he can read it in your mind and use it to his advantage
Lucky gift
- I didn't hear anything I didn't see anything," she confirmed to him not wanting to get under the god of foresight's skin, she didn't want to be the target of his nagging and harassment. It was enough for her to watch him harass poor Thrud, and his brothers. Come on each of them is a narcissist and is complacent come on some things she agreed with him she did not agree with the idea of harassment come on, as I said they were narcissists more than she could describe
She couldn't describe it
There were no exact words to describe how mean they were
Walking over to the stool on which the decoction stood she picked up the bowl poured the contents into the meat that the great beast was eating - It feels better - she informed the god of foresight he had already come to this conclusion himself, standing opposite her he measured the coat of his mount. Only the head of the beast separated them, both of them gently caressed the coat of the great cat which rough fur was slowly returning to soft again and a small glow was coming through - He will soon get better - a smile dawned on her lips, even the guardian of Asgard himself smiled. He could no longer bear to have to walk towards the elevator that had always carried him to the top of Hrimthur's wall, he had always ridden his mount towards the elevator and now he had to walk like the mortals he so despised.
