CHAPTER ELEVEN
༺☆༻
- Alfheim is the first world we visited thanks to your temple. Freja wanted to come with us - Atreus' voice echoed in the endless void on which Yggdrasil grows, the teenager chuckling as his father and the other god of war recounted his and Kratos' adventures when they were in Alfheim - But Odin put a curse on her. She cannot leave Midgard -.
- Terrible - Tyr sighed focusing his gaze in front of him for the skylight his sigh was almost sarcastic. As if he didn't care about it at all and had known about it for a very long time
- Then we fought against hosts of dark elves to reach the light - Atreus continued speaking without noticing the tone of voice with which Tyr sighed, the skylight only looked then at the teenager then at the freed god of war. Something did not suit him and he did not like Tyr, but no one notices it except the little man
- Have you joined the war of the elves? - Asked Tyr unbelieving perhaps and slightly indignant
- Not by choice - This time Kratos spoke rather than making mutterings or other sounds typical of him - We wanted to fill the Bifrost. They were the ones who attacked - explained the Spartan leading the group towards the portal that led to Alfheim
-The dark elves covered everything with nesting matter. When we got rid of it the elves of light came back - Atreus added, finishing the story that his father had shortened - It got kind of better - he said.
The skylight nodded, the light elves were connected to the faith magic that Leah managed and from which the skylights were created. These little skylights also fed off the light of Alfheim, when the dark elves defeated the light and kept the light of Alfheim to themselves the skylights and Leah lost their power.
Maybe this was also one of the reasons why Leah disappeared and the skylights, maybe this also explains why the skylight came to life. Lucky for him that Atreus and Kratos found him, because he wouldn't have survived long without food, even though the light of Alfheim shines exuberantly it won't make the skylights full strength however they are like normal beings they need to eat and sleep.
Tyr as if mocked pulling the skylight out of the land of thoughts, whose icy blue eyes again rested suspiciously on the freed god of war - Really? - mocked Tyr
When they passed through the portal that appeared in front of them, they found themselves on the other side of the snow was close to the portal and fresh snow would fall to cover their tracks or add a new layer to the space - Alfheim - fascinated Tyr looked around and inhaled into his mouth - Rime - he let the air out through his mouth as he spoke
The skylight settled in Atreus' pocket to avoid the cold and stay warm - Sure little one hid there - giggled quietly the teenager wrapped the skylight more not worrying about burning his clothes. Because he won't, as he found out after the skylight often sat on his shoulder
- I'm not sure where the temple is, but it's where we'll find the Groy altar," Atreus added after a moment, turning to Father and Tyr
Walking through the snowy land, conversations and giggles began, much to Kratos' displeasure; it's hard to tell if this man doesn't like conversations or just doesn't want to participate in them, but he always listened, not much he said, but he listened. He was a good listener he didn't necessarily give the best advice, but he tried to cultivate this virtue of a good listener long enough for everyone to whine that he didn't talk much.
When it was the Spartan he noticed something lying on the ground, approaching it he picked up a nice mask from the ground it was snowy due to the fact that it was still raining, but it was visible from a distance or Kratos' watchful eyesight noticed the mask buried underground
