Chapter Eight
༺☆༻
Kratos didn't even know how lucky he was when Brok and Sindri arranged for them to have a temporary hiding place in the tree of life between the branches was a house. Quite a nice house among the branches of the tree of worlds, the old god of war decided to follow his son who is trying to find Tyr another god of war.
The fact that Atreus had turned into a wolf because of the death of Fenrir worried Kratos. There was so much to do now, thinking, that he couldn't keep up.
Currently he had the impression that when he was in Midgard in his wooden hut he saw Thor and Odin making a peace proposal, the god of war blinked and suddenly appeared in Svartalheim with Atreus looking for Tyr.
Everything was happening so fast that the elder god couldn't keep up, which was a surprise to him. A big surprise.
The weather in the world of the dwarves suited them, it was sunny only a gentle wind could cool their bodies, but it was not as frigid as in Midgard. Finally they saw the sun and not gray clouds, Atreus overtook his father satisfied with another adventure
- Wow, can you feel it? - asked the young boy enthusiastically his blue eyes followed each line of the horizon admiring the view. He took a deep breath of the fresh air, which was not frosty but warm
- What's that? - asked the beheaded Mimir. Their friend, as usual, is strapped to Kratos' waist. But he must have smelled there....
- Well, air - Atreus looked over his shoulder at his father and more precisely at the place where Mimir's head was pinned - It's warm - he added contentedly feeling the sun burn his skin
Atreus led the older man in accepting the command his father had given him, it was his plan to save Tyr. He believed he was alive, that somewhere out there in the dark mines Tyr was alive and just waiting for someone to free him. Atreus approached a lone boat that stood leaning against the rocks
- We can use this boat, if we can pull it out - mused the boy looking at Kratos who keeps pace with him, but lags a little behind, the young man not waiting for the decision and the words of his father began to untie the ropes to free the boat and be able to use it
- carefully - muttered Mimir, as if on cue the danger had to come quickly. One of the burrows fell out a creature - Aa! - slightly panicked Atreus not expecting the sudden attack of the creature
- Why are they so fast - Lamented Atreus as usual talking a lot and trying to shoot one of the monsters. They looked like red large lizards they had orange accents on their backs and orange large eyes the creeps were more as if they multiplied with each kill.
Kratos and Atreus had to deal with the creeps and Mimir, as usual, helped them by warning them of more creeps lurking who were preparing to attack.
When it was all over every creep was killed or crushed. Kratos approached his son - This adventure promises to be interesting," stated Mimir
- Atreus you were careless - He reprimanded Atreus, Kratos may not have been the best father, but he cared about his son - But I took out the boat - He said proudly Atreus continued to have the same enthusiasm as always
He still believed that everything was going according to plan and Tyr was just waiting for them to release him from prison. Cursed Odin must have imprisoned him
- We can sail through these canals - Added the younger man after a while, Kratos inspected the boat with his eyes looking to see if it was serviceable.
She was, with her strength, lifted the boat and began to push it with one hand pointing it towards the water of the canals. Atreus wanting to help his father also began to push the front of the boat giving it a course, when they were close to the water Atreus was preparing to jump into the boat - You know. - The boy began to say - I can't believe that mom led the rebellion against Odin here. And she never mentioned it - -.
