"Mikey! Mikey! Miiiiiiiiikeeeeeeeeey!" A voice called out, knocking on the door. No response. Chen pouted slightly, running into the living room, "Ran-sama! Mikey has been in there for days!"
Ran turned around and sighed.
"He's still in there...?" Ran asked. She paused for a moment, before putting down her broom and walking towards the room. She hit her fist against the door, "Michael! Open this door! One. Two...you know what, forget it." Ran forced the door open, sliding it open, "What the...?"
The room was a mess. There was a desk to the right in front of the door, a bed to the left in the left corner, and a shelf on the left in the right corner. However Michael wasn't there. He was laying on a hammock made of the silk he was able to produce, and there were papers flooding the floor crumpled up into balls. On the table were three plates and two cups dirty on the table, along with multiple books. Michael's remaining arm hung limp over the side, while he laid on his side. Ran floated up words to look at him. His eyes were flashing different imagery, his eyes blinked rapidly for brief seconds periodically.
"Whoah..." Chen said surprised upon peering in. Ran shook Michael.
"Hey! Hey what's wrong!" Ran shook him. His eyes began to stutter, before he squeezed his eyes, and his eyes turned to normal. He looked at Ran for a few seconds, blinking a few times.
"Oh...hi Ran..." Michael said, before yawning, "Sorry. What's up?"
"Oh my goodness..." Ran sighed, "you had me worried to death. Do you know how long you've been here? You stink, you're pale, and I can practically hear how thirsty you are! Get up, now!"
"O-okay..." Michael said. He weakly stood up, and nearly fell to faceplant. Ran zipped down and grabbed him in a bridal style, "W-whoa...I feel dizzy..."
"Yare Yare Daze..." Ran mumbled, putting him into his bed, "Chen!"
"Yes Ran-Sama?" Chen said.
"Grab those dishes for me, I am going to go prepare some things." Ran told her.
"Yes Ran-Sama." Chen said, gathering Michael's dirty dishes. She then turned around.
"As for you." Ran told Michael, glaring at him with an annoyed look, "Don't. move. A. muscle."
Michael blushed slightly.
"Y-yes ma'am..." He said. Ran huffed, and walked out, Chen behind her. Michael sighed, closing his eyes. He felt dizzy, his body was weak, and he felt like he was going to throw up.
"Should have let me help..." Spectre echoed in his head.
"Shut up." Michael thought to himself.
"You know I get all the info from VEDA that you do, yes?" Spectre asked.
"VEDA?" Michael asked.
"Don't worry about it. The point is, if you would simply stop blocking my Quantum Brain Waves we would have been done in half the time, you're not even finished." Spectre told him. Michael groaned.
"I'm too ill for this..." Michael mumbled.
"Mikey." Chen said, walking in with a glass of water, "here you are."
Michael sat himself up slightly, and took the water, drinking it vigorously. He began coughing, and beat on his chest as he forced himself to swallow.
"Ugh! God..." Michael said. He turned to Chen, "Please get a trashcan and bag for me..."
"Okay." Chen nodded, running out. She came back and put the trash can in his room, before running back out. Shortly after, Ran walked in with a bowl of rice.
