I came into the biggest room in school. The library. The library is my home and there's no place quite like it. The only reason I come here everyday is because it's quiet and no one is usually around.
I sat down in the chair closest to the window where you could see out into hell... Or school I should say. I opened my book to page 46 and started reading, but then stopped when I heard the door open.
I looked at Nate Hughes and another boy I've never seen. Nate Hughes has dark brown hair that is cut short to keep out of his brown eyes. Nate is one of the smartest people I know although I never talk to him he seems nice. The boy to his left had blonde shaggy hair that fell into his ocean blue eyes, he was wearing an American apparel white shirt with his blue jeans. When he looked at me, he smiled, then looked back to Nate who was talking about the library and how to check out the books. I looked to the window again and saw the white snow that fell onto the ground softly covering the green grass. It was the middle of January so it wasn't unusually to see snow. The snow flakes seemed to dance in the wind until they hit the ground of white. Then the first bell rang. I picked up my stuff and started towards the door where Nate and the new boy were standing.
My sister says that I'm painfully shy, but other people call me awkward, weird, and silent Tabitha. They call me that because after my best friend died, I stopped talking. Its not like I care though, I hate almost everyone that goes to this school.
As I walked past Nate and the new boy, I heard "silent Tabitha." I turned slowly to glance at them, but then Nate was already walking away, the new boy trailing behind, with one glance back at me.
I guess Nate Hughes isn't as nice as I thought.
