The Tesseract

I start to gain consciousnesses and I open my eyes to see I'm in a hospital bed. I hear the faint sounds of the monitors I'm hooked up to. I sit up and pull out the IV that was in the crevice of my elbow.

I stand up and head towards the door. I get to the door and look down, realising I am still in a hospital gown. I look around the room to see my cloths on a seat beside my bed along with my singed suit. I make my way over and my body starts to ache

I quickly get dressed, looking myself over to see no cuts or burns anywhere. I leave the room, seeing the hallway completely empty. I wander the halls towards the control room at the entrance.

When I get closer to the control room, I seen everyone in there, along with the blonde man from before. I shuffle my way into the room and everyone turns to me.

" What is medieval Goldilocks doing here?" I question pointing to the man.

" He's here to help." Romanoff informs me from the table, leaning back with her arms crossed.

" Parker, you should be resting." Banner worries.

" I'm fine." I shrug as I make my way over to the table and take a seat.

" Anyway, Thor." Steve calls out to the blonde man.

" Loki's gonna drag this out, so what's his play?" Steve asks.

" He has an army called the Chituri. They're not of Asgard, nor any known world. He means to lead them against your people. They will win the Earth for him. In return, I suspect, for the Tesseract." Thor explains.

" An army, from outer space?" Steve asks, unbelievingly.

" So, he's building another portal. That's what he need Eric Selvig for." Bruce pieces together.

" Selvig?" Thor questions.

" He's an astrophysicist." Romanoff informs us.

" He's a friend." Thor states.

" Loki has him under some sort of spell, along with one of ours." Nat sighs, looking down at e end of her sentence.

" I want to know why Loki let us take him. He's not leading an army from here." Steve wonders.

" I don't think we should be focusing on Loki. That guys brain is a bag full of cats. You can smell crazy on him." Bruce points out.

" Have care how you speak. Loki is beyond reason, but he is of Asgard. And he is my brother." Thor warns.

" He killed 80 people in two days." Nat says nonchalantly.

" He's adopted." Thor shrugs.

" I think it's about the mechanics. Iridium... What do they need it for?" Bruce asks.

" It's a stabilising agent." Tony speaks up as he comes into the room. 

" It means the portal won't collapse on itself like it did at Shield." Tony explains as he goes by Thor.

" No hard feelings Point Break. You've got a mean swing." Tony says as he walks by Thor and pats him on the shoulder with the back of his hand.
