Me and Steve have been roommates for two years now and to say that we get along well would be the understatement of the year. Me and Steve know everything about each other now.
I know about how he was friends with Tony's dad before he went into the ice, and that he had a 'girlfriend' before it too but it was only one kiss, come on man. Hardly his girlfriend. I think that's what it was like back in his time.
I also know his best friend, James Buchanan Barnes, or Bucky for short. Him and Steve have been through thick and thin. He was captured by Hydra back in the day and Steve had to go save him. Such a damsel in distress love story, I know.
Currently, me and Steve are sitting on the couch, trying to come up with names for my new powers.
" Alright, what do we got?" I ask as I jump over the back of the couch with two beers, handing one to him.
" So far we have, magic sparkles, rainbow explosion, even though it's orange," He complains as he reads from the notepad in his hand, making me roll my eyes.
" Ehh... that's it." He finishes as he looks up to me.
" That's it?"
" That's it." He repeats.
" Well this has been a productive two hours." I joke and he snickers as I open my beer, taking a sip.
" Hold on, I got it!" He says enthusiastically.
I look to him for him to continue as he moves his body and arms into a 'picture this' position.
" Venom." He says and I immediately deflate.
I look to him with a bored expression but his excitement doesn't falter.
" Come on. It's good. You're called Spider-Woman and spiders carry venom and they inject people with it. Like your electricity." He elaborates and I nod finally understanding the origin of the name.
" Huh, 'Venom'." I say as I slightly nod my head.
" I like it." I add and he lightly fist bumps the air, making me chuckle.
" How was your mission today?" I ask him, taking another sip.
" You would know if you ever went on one." He points out.
" Oh no, I don't go in Shield missions. The only missions I do are the ones where the Avengers are called in for. I'm not a Shield agent." I tell him.
" But that was only one." Steve points out.
" Exactly." I chuckle.
" Whatever. You'll go on one someday." He mumbles.
I hear a knock on the door and give Steve a curious look as it's late and I didn't invite anyone over. Steve gets up and opens the door, not bothering to even falter.
When he opens the door, he greets whoever is there and then steps aside, letting them in. Once the person is fully in I see none other than the Russian red-head herself.
" Hey Natasha." I call out to her.
" Hey Andrea." She smiles at me.
" Sorry I forgot to mention I invited Nat over for a few drinks on the mission." Steve tells me.
" No no, it's fine. You don't have to apologise." I shake my head, making him sigh in relief.
" You want a drink?" Steve asks as he heads into the kitchen.
" Please." Nat responds as she takes a seat in the armchair.
" How've you been Andrea?" Natasha asks me.
