Chapter 30

 Chapter 30

 "You have to come, you were Miss Mystic Falls the year before me, and you're a founding family member." I rolled my eyes. "Not by blood Car, just by name." I said into the phone. "You're coming!" She snapped before hanging up. Klaus was planning on taking Caroline as his date for Miss Mystic Falls tomorrow. He wanted to get any information out of Caroline that he could about Jeremy being a hunter. Caroline said yes due to her and Tyler breaking up. But I wasn't about to turn up without a date. Punching in the very familiar number into my phone, they picked up after two ring, "Hey, I need a small favour." I whispered as I jumped into my car.  

"No you cant wear that tie, silly!" I said walking up to him and undoing it. "And why not?!" Kol asked with a chuckle. "Because I'm wearing a purple dress, and I want us to match!" I said shuffling through my boyfriends drawers to find a purple tie for Kol 

My dress was long, a trail leading from behind. It was rather elegant and had a low neckline. 

"You such a girl." Kol said with a roll of his eyes. "Want a bet?" I asked as I showed my fangs, my eyes golden. He replied with a shake of the head, eyes widened. I held up a purple bow tie and a long skinny indigo tie. Kol pointed towards the bow tie and I nodded my head in agreement. "Thank you for coming today." I began as I fixed his tie for him. "Its no problem, couldn't leave you dateless now, could we, darling?" I smirked. "So are you going to tell me what else you found." Kol bit his lip, "When the time is right." I raised an eyebrow. "New Orleans. Thats as far as I could get." I bit my lip. "What are you talking about? Did you find some of my family there or-?" Kol licked his lips and sat on my bed. "Thats why I didnt want to tell you yet, I didnt want to get your hopes up. I have a few more witches to visit. But what news I have confirmation on is that your parents did get a witch to do a protection spell on you, apparently they were scared for you life. They were afraid of something." I began to pace back and fourth as I thought about what this thing they could've been afraid of. "Wait, Kol. What if it wasn't a thing, they were afraid of. What if they were afraid of a person. Not all kind of witch magic works on me, so what if the person they wanted to protect me from was like a bad witch or something?" Kol laughed at my choice of words. "Thats why I'm going to find out other things, it helps when you have connections in the supernatural world....all over the world." Kol said with a wink and I groaned. "See this is why we should go travelling, you cant introduce me to all your little mates. Hey, I really want to go to England." I daydreamed. "How about Australia? Lets get away, off of the Northern hemisphere." I said with a grin and Kol laughed hitting me with a pillow. "Come on, darling. We gotta go" 

"Is she wearing my dress?" I snapped angry and Kol handed me a glass of champagne. "Who?" He asked looking around confused. "Elena! Thats my dress, I wore it on my first date with your brother." I said as I glared at Elena from far away. "I haven't fed in hours, do you wanna go find someone?" Kol asked with a wink. I let out a scoff, "And get blood over this dress? No way." I said as I turned my attention towards Caroline who stood behind a microphone. "Hello everyone, I'm Caroline Forbes. As the reigning Miss Mystic Falls, it is my honour to introduce this years Miss Mystic Court! We begin the procession with Valerie Fell, accompanied by Dylan Clark. Next we have Amber Wolverton, accompanied by Hector Linsey." Kol let ut a stifle laugh and I looked at him confused. "Elena and Matt are giving you he dirtiest look." I spun around to see them staring and when our eyes met they went back to talking and so i began to listen in.
