Chapter 17

Rolling over in the bed I realised Klaus was gone and I frowned as I opened my eyes.  Leaning over to the bed side table I grabbed my phone.

FROM ELENA - Hey big sis! Didn’t see much of you yesterday. Did you want to hang out? 

TO ELENA - Think I'm busy today . . . did you just want to discuss Klaus and I?

FROM ELENA - No, well kinda but I really just wanna hang out.

TO ELENA - Tomorrow hopefully xx

Walking back into my own room I walked into the bathroom and jumped into the shower. I let the water run down my back as I closed my eyes.  Last night I ended up sleeping in Klaus’  bed.  My head up against his bare chest, and his arm around my waist, I felt at home, I felt at ease.  Today I was going to make sure to talk to him about things.  I was slightly confused because I didn’t know what I wanted.

Running downstairs i collapsed onto the couch next to Klaus.  “Good morning sweetheart.”  Klaus whispered as he continued to sketch.  “Good morning.  What are you drawing?”  I asked as I sat up and tried to look over at his paper but he flipped it upside down so i couldn't see it.  “Its a surprise.”  He whispered as he put his finger up to his lips.  I rested my head onto his lap, my feet in the air.  “You guys are too sickly as a couple.  I've never seen you so whipped Niklaus.”  Kol observed and i let out a chuckle.  The front door slammed and in walked Rebekah, still in her dress from last night.  “Well, well, well.  There's our girl.”  Kol announced as he stood up and blocked Rebekah’s way.  “Get out of my way Kol.”  Rebekah spoke annoyed.  “Out all night. What a scandal. I trust you did better than that commoner. Matt was it?”  Kol said with a sly smirk which i swore was permanently plastered to his face.   Rebekah narrowed her eyes,  “If you don't shut your mouth the next thing to come out of it will be your teeth.”  She snapped as she walked past him and I let out a laugh along with Klaus.  “Don't start Nik.”  Rebekah said and Klaus grinned,  “I didn't say anything.”  He spoke innocently.  “So where were you?”  I winked at her and she smirked.  “Ill talk to you later.” 

“Im bored!” Kol announced as he sighed collapsing back into his chair.  “Our sister is a strumpet, but at least she's having fun.  I need entertainment.”  Kol said looking over at me.  “What are you waiting for?  Go on.  Have at it.”  Klaus said as he ran his fingers up my arm.  Kol smiled it my direction.  “What do you want Kol? I asked as I sat up straighter.  “It’s not fun to go alone.  Come with me Rose.”  He begged and I ran a hand through my hair.  “Why not?  Im trying to avoid Elena so if she sees me busy, she wont expect I lied.”  I said standing up.  “Nik you should come too!”  Kol said with a grin. “Its the least you could do after sticking a dagger in my heart.”  He said softly.  I looked a Klaus with a smirk.  “Come on, it'll be fun..”  I sand and Klaus looked in between Kol and I.  “Okay.  Why not?  I didn't have nearly enough to drink last night, what with you trying to murder Rebekah’s date.”  Klaus said as he stood up and picked me up throwing me over his shoulders and I laughed loudly.  “Klaus let me down!”  I spoke  giggling as I hit his back.
