TO BE WHO I AM

I want to gain something
That only my hands can achieve it
With no help from the eyes of prying
So that, I can prove myself from everything that they were saying.

I'm just she just like they were believing
One wrong move and the blame will pointing
At me, who's innocent and have no strength to talking
About the big events and they wanted me to shutting.

Just like a doll sitting at chair
Watching the society dominated by men
Being tied up by the thin strings
Controlled by them who's old believers.

"Women must please the men,
Women must take the children,
Women must clean the household,
And women must be submissive to their husbands."

I covered my ears to hear the peace
From those words that's destroying me
Those words that stepping on me
Those words that cowarding me.

I wanted to do something that can prove them wrong,
That in my power, they cannot hold like before
That they cannot manipulate me with colorful words
And show them that woman can be powerful.

This is not just about gaining or being powerful,
This is all about woman can be everything like men too,

I'm not talking about being like them too.
