Without any need to explain the needs, Jungkook just know he need see to Taehyung. It's been days since the king paid him a  visit in his office and there's no words from Taehyung, Jimin only keep him updated with a brief of how the pretty male was doing.

The news about the divorce still haven't found it way to the media which Jungkook knows it's no one handwork than the king, the man would need to protect his ego and pride. After all, his plans of requesting divorce for taehyung's infidelity has backfired him and the pretty male has beats him to it.

Jungkook still doesn't understand himself well on why he keeps the king's dirt's he digged a secret from Taehyung, he himself felt ashamed for the king who'd rather throw his Queen under the bus once again to saved his already spoiled image. He knows Taehyung might not show him but , the male will definitely be hurt again. And that's why Jungkook kept it a secret and decided to give the king a big blow by setting up the little acting drama he'd set up.

Jeon Jungkook isn't the type to play dirty in business but the urge to protect and hurts whoever has hurts Taehyung just keep getting higher everyday and he , himself has no explanation to it. And trust him , it's frustrating.

He's fully under stress for pulling whatever strings he'd pulled, the guilts are eating him alive but it's not like the people involved are that innocent.

He remembers his mind only chanting at him to protect Taehyung at all cost and how can he do that without driving Taehyung out of the palace, away from numerous unknown plans lee in ho has set for him.

He didn't have to think much about how to blow the king's heart away, it's obvious the man is obsessed with the idea of his heir and the mindset that Taehyung would never leave him voluntarily.

The young CEO knows he'd went just far by making the king's real son a bastard, he knows this would affect the poor kid life but his mind was too occupied on Taehyung and he only have time to think about his consequences after the did has been done.

The king's baby mama did help him with his plan and thanks to her for not staying all loyal during her days with Lee in ho and that's enough for the young CEO to create loops in the almost perfect relationship, it's easy to buy one of mina's exes over with a bunch of cash and a protection promise to keep him safe from the king's wrath.

Money and power is really the roots of all evilness and Jungkook was glad he had enough of both, he'd pulled all his strings tight enough to be rest assured the DNA results will always come back in his favour no matter how many hospitals they visited in this country. So he had nothing to worry about on that side.

Things has fallen into the places he went them, he'd given Taehyung the harsh push he needed to divorce the king.

But he didn't think the situation will bring Taehyung back to his self miseries, he mean the pretty male should be happy that he's finally getting away from the pathetic excuse of a man he called husband but instead the male seem to be mourning over his failed marriage again.

Maybe Taehyung was never over the king? Then what is he? A short time distraction?.

The young CEO sighs banging his head softly against the wall.

"I shouldn't have done that" he mumble to himself but shakes his head again only seconds later.

"But then , that idiot of a king would've cage him in forever against his will---- ahhhh" the CEO groan out loudly, he didn't go through all the stress and wasted so much money to make Taehyung happy only for the male to end up depressed more than before.

What is he getting wrong?.

Why are you so keen on making him happy in the first place---

His subconscious whispered to him but he only sighs to himself, question left unanswered because he can't even explain himself as well.

There's just this deep feeling in him to protect the male, he just didn't understand how much he'd until recently.

"Gosh I feel like a villain now" he grumble under his breath.

A villain that would burn down the whole world to keep his loved one safe.

Jungkook's day couldn't get more worst when rain started falling on his way back home, it takes him back in time to the day Taehyung said he's going to make him love raining days until that same day was spoiled by the king.

A frown settle on his face when he notices the figure standing by his gate, shivering under the harsh strokes of the rain. And he get deva ju.

It can't really be.....

He parked his car just few steps away from his gate and get down in hurry to walk closer to the figure and it was indeed Taehyung standing still, not minding the harsh pouring over his head.

"What are you doing outside here under the rain" he asks as he dragged the boy with him to his car and hurriedly shut the door before he also get inside the car.

"I want *cough* talk to you" Taehyung mumble back, raising his head a bit when he felt a peice of clothe dab on his shoulder. It's Jungkook's coat , thankfully the CEO has pull it off earlier when he was leaving his office.

"You could call me and I'd have come back earlier or even tell you how to get inside the house, what if that idiot that's looking for you saw you here?" Jungkook grumble with a grimace driving the car into his garage straight while Taehyung stare at him confusedly.

"The king? Did he come to you?"

"Yeah, he believes I know where you're hiding and came to my office to threaten me" Jungkook reply as he help Taehyung down from the car, no words are exchange between them as they walk inside Jungkook's house.

"Go change inside that room, I'll make you some tea" Jungkook didn't wait for his reply as he was already walking into his kitchen.

When Taehyung come out of the bathroom, Jungkook was already waiting for him with a cup of tea.

The CEO take his time taking in the pretty male appearance, he notices the dark circles and the little weight lost. It's unnoticeable but for some reasons, Jungkook find himself noticing all the changes that he didn't notice when Taehyung finishes with his tea.

He dramatically clears his throat when he found the boy staring at him confusedly.

"We need to talk" and somehow , those words sound threatening to his ears that Jungkook instantly which he'd varnished somewhere and not have this conversation with Taehyung right now. But he still nods his head.

"I want us to end this.... Whatever we'd call what's going on between us"
