"If You Lover Her" – Forest Blakk
"On days when it feels like
The whole world might cave in,
Stand side by side and you'll make it.
She's the best thing that you'll ever have.
She'll love you, if you love her like that."- Forest Bakk
"Y/n wait!"
The white halls echoed with her name, as the third-year student ignored her sensei's calls. She'd gotten tunnel vision the moment she walked through the metal doors. Instead of listening to her teacher, she ran and made her way towards his medical room. She only had one thought in mind, to make sure he was okay. The hospital smell was pungent, it infiltrated her nose and throat. It was acrid and bitter. It made her want to gag for the smell of disinfectant. Shivers ran through her body for how cold it felt. However, all of it was keeping her sane at the moment, because there was no way this was happening right now.
It was all a lie.
She just saw him this morning. They said the same sappy shit they did each time they saw each other. Ever since they started dating seven months ago, they called each other sweet nicknames. The kind of pet names people got sick of, jealous of, because they didn't have what they had. The world wouldn't just rip him away from her life. Especially right now, right when they just started this relationship. Their puppy love was supposed to grow into something so old and ancient, something that people would only dream of. They had so many plans after graduation, so many dreams to accomplish. Many years down the line where they'd have a family and recount stories to their grandchildren about their crazy younger years as training heroes.
There was supposed to be a future with him, it wouldn't just abruptly end.
Not this way...
Oboro Shirakumo was dear to her, they were classmates who turned more. They had a whole life ahead of them.
So, no. There was no way that today was real. Even if all the facts told her otherwise, the news story online of the fallen hero, his name plastered on the screen as her heart dropped. The explanation from her sensei, of what happened to him. All her teacher could do was apologize and give no solace. Yet, to Y/n it wasn't real. She had to see it for herself. Life right now didn't make any sense, but he made it for her. His contagious bright smile and hopeful dreams made hers come to life. His light blue hair and light grey eyes always shone so bright like the clouds. This was probably some joke his friends came up with to scare her a little.
Shota Aizawa, her childhood friend, would never joke about something like this, but Hizashi Yamada and Oboro would. They were the jokesters of their group.
Regardless, even though her mind kept repeating that it was joke, inside her heart it didn't feel that way. Her eyes were already burning with unshed tears. Her heart felt so heavy. She could feel the ache and pain in her chest, climb up through her throat. She wanted to vomit from the news. The knot wouldn't go away, no matter how many times she told her brain that it was a lie, her heart was already weeping. Bleeding to death as though it made up its mind, believing what everyone else has told her. The faster she ran, her heart thumped with doom, as tears were already streaming down her face. Ignoring the calls of the medical staff to be careful. Ignoring the calls of her teacher to stop.
