"Don't Blame Me" – Taylor Swift

"For you, I would cross the line

I would waste my time, I would lose my mind

They say, 'She's gone too far this time.'

Don't blame me, love made me crazy

If it doesn't, you ain't doin' it right

Lord, save me, my drug is my baby

I'll be usin' for the rest of my life."

– Taylor Swift

Since the encounter at the bar all those months ago, Tenko Shimura stayed true to his word. He'd appear out of nowhere to have small interactions with her. With every appearance her guard kept diminishing and not once did he ask her to use her quirk on him or on any of his associates. He was simply trying to get to know her better, is what he said. If Y/n was blind, she wouldn't think anything of it. However, she wasn't. If anything, it seemed like he was courting her.

A villain.

Courting her?

And she hates to admit it, but very successfully too.

Sure, she's been pursued before, by many different people. But never a villain. None of her previous suitors captured her attention like Tenko Shimura apparently had. She must be mad to give him the light of day, if anyone found out about their little meet up's, or more like Tenko appearing out of nowhere to chat with her, they'd treat her like an enemy and he probably knew that too. Which is why he kept their chats out in public small. It was never more than an hour. At first their interactions started out in public, then however, their meetings moved to her condo. A safe space where they could talk freely. They had more freedom and time to interact in her home. And the thing is, it was her who suggested it. He never asked or showed up at her home uninvited, until she had invited him herself. Like he was giving her complete control of how much he got to see her.

When she asked about his home, he completely shot down her idea. Not because he didn't have one, but rather because of who also occupied his space. Apparently, he didn't want anyone else to know that he had gained an interest in her. The only person who knew was his right-hand man, Touya Todoroki, whose kept their secret tight lipped. Tenko claimed it was to protect his privacy, however Y/n knew it was to protect her, because she didn't just need protection from hero society if they found out she was speaking with him, but also villains. It'd be safer for her if no one knew that Tenko Shimura had a thing for a doctor.

And with time his pursuing worked because she began to crave each meeting.

She must be insane right? The most loved doctor of all Japan could not think to become friends with the notorious villain of Japan, let alone even date them.

This was so very, very wrong.

Still, she couldn't help but wonder. If they had been just normal people, if they didn't live in a world of powers. Y/n would have given him the light of day because he was something else. Surprisingly, he was very intuitive, and thoughtful. Her heartbeat would raise from his considerate words, he never spoke about his ambitions, or why he was a villain. But rather of small trivial things like what he liked to do in his spare time, apparently, he loved to take walks near the beach during sunsets because it cleared his mind. No one ever questioned the figure that took a walk near the shore, they never thought that it would be the villain, Tenko Shimura who was amongst them. Taking a walk like any other person would. He was a master at disguise. These past months she's seen how society has ignored him because he blended in, he never stood out.
