Two weeks later, the planting season in Z Province officially began.

Veira bought five farming plots for their family. They had been removing wild grass from them the past few weeks and now, just like the other families in their barangay with multiple farming plots, they woke up early just to start planting.

They also halted the food cart for now lalo na at kailangan ding tumulong ni Fernan sa pagtatanim ng pamilya nila. Since walang makakasama sila Lili at Lulu, they all just decided to focus on planting this time.

Normally, Veira's family didn't need to do farming. Dinidiscourage nga din siya nila Aling Freida dahil hindi madali ang magfarm. But she was thinking na dahil magkakaroon na siya ng restaurant, their demand for rice and other crops would increase too. So planting now would definitely a good idea. If in latter time, she felt it would be arduous to maintain the plots, she could just hire others to do it for them.

"Eh? You're family is planting too? Kaya ba hindi kayo nagtinda ngayon, Lulu?"

Veira, Lili and Lulu were working on a plot together when they heard this voice. They looked up and found Diego and James there.

Of course, the one who just spoken was James.

"En, Kuya James. Bakit? Miss mo na ba agad ang mga paninda namin?" Lulu asked.

"En... Hinihintay kitang dumaan kanina sa bahay nila Diego."

Veira and Lili rolled their eyes bago nagpatuloy na sa ginagawa nila. It was no brainer that Lulu can converse with him. She did that to everyone. Obviously, amongst their family members, the little ancestor was the most talented when it came to being a people person. This was also the reason why she always had extra sale than Lili.

"Hey, let me do that for you, Lulu." James said as he grabbed the basket from her.

"Eh? Marunong ka bang magfarm, Kuya James?"

"No. Pero andyan ka naman so why don't you tell me what to do?"

"Sure!" Saka naupo sa gilidan si Lulu and began commanding James.

Diego, on the other hand, felt uncomfortable dahil sa hindi na naman siya pinansin nila Veira at Lili.

He was a person with an authoritative aura. People tend to be respectful around him even if he didn't ask them to do so. You see, even the assassins sent to kill him still called him Your Highness respectfully.

Don't get him wrong. It is not like he wanted to impose his other identity to others. It was a secret and known only to very few people. If you ask him, he didn't even want that identity.

A great portion of his life was spent in this country. He didn't remember much bago siya mapunta sa kamay ng mga human traffickers but while he was with them, he remembered all the abuses and sufferings they put him through.

At kung hindi pa dahil sa adoptive parents niya, he wouldn't be able to live the life he had now. If there were people he greatly owed and grateful, those were his adoptive parents. Not those from the other side.

Anyhow, he knew his temperament really well. He was never a people person. Due to his childhood trauma, he would always have an indifferent face all the time and make people feel he was unapproachable. Only his adoptive parents would ignore his facial expression and be close to him.

From his authoritative aura and indifferent face, he knew people wouldn't intentionally snobbed him though. Instead, it was them who were afraid to trouble him.

So definitely this was the first time someone snobbed him like Veira and Lili.

Instinctively, he approached Veira while his hands were behind him.
