The biggest mistake he made was ignoring the signs. Everything's already pointing out to him but he ignored it. Wait, no. He didn't ignore it on purpose, it's just that he didn't have a single clue about what was happening.
It all started when Nick thought he was just being forgetful. He thought that it was just normal headaches.
Nick found himself pausing in a rant which he very rarely do. Matt and Chris were already laughing their ass off when they noticed the sudden silence. They look back at him and realized that he already stopped talking in the middle of his rant.
"Why did you stop?" Matt asked, still giggling a little, as he remember Nick's rant.
Nick just blinked and smiled, "I forgot where I was heading with the rant."
Chris just shook his head and chuckled.
After filming the video, Nick told Matt that they should go home. Usually, they stay in the place where they shoot for about 15 minutes just to talk before going home. Tonightwas different because Nick could feel the pounding headache. His head hurts and it must be because he didn't get even just a wink of sleep last night. So that is why they're already heading home 15 minutes early.
"You should take some medicine before going ti bed, Nick." Chris reminded him as they got off the car.
Nick nodded, "I will. I'll head to bed first, guys. G'night." He didn't wait for their replies, he immediately walked in their home. He really needs to sleep immediately.
It all started with the small things, so it wasn't really anyone's fault that they didn't notice. It wasn't really their fault. No one should blame anyone for what happened.

"Nick?"
Nick blinked when he heard Matt calling him. Matt, Madi, and Chris are now looking at him with their worried yet confused eyes. What? What happened?
"Huh? Why are you all looking at me?"
"I've been calling you for like forever." Matt said, there's a hint of annoyance in his tone despite the worried look he gave him. He was probably annoyed because Nick didn't respond to him immediately as he thought he would.
"Uh.. I didn't hear you. I must've space out."
He glanced at Chris when he heard his brother snort, as if he was making fun of his reason. "Spaced out while watching your favorite movie. Great job."
"Are you okay, Nick?" It feels like comfort when he heard Madi's sweet voice. He let out a sigh of relief, immediately relaxing to the voice of his bestfriend.
"Thank you for asking instead of making fun of me, Madi!" Nick exclaimed sarcastically while looking at Chris, making sure that his brother knows that he was the one he was talking about. "I'm okay, I just zoned out a little, actually. I was busy thinking about what's our next vlog gonna be about." He lied. He wasn't really particularly thinking about anything.
He couldn't even remember what he was doing. He didn't remember when exactly did he spaced out. Nick just lied so they wouldn't ask questions anymore. It's nothing important anyway, he just zoned out. It's normal for most people, right?
