I sighed once again as I walked. It was days like this that I missed the Leaf Village. "Are you just going to sigh all day?" Sasuke asked irately. I looked at him with a sad face.
Of course he had no sympathy for me. My face immediately took on a hardened glare. In my opinion it was a work of art, that glare.
I left the Leaf Village with Sasuke close to three years ago. At the time he had wanted me to go with him but now I wondered if he really wanted me here... Right now we were on our way back to Orochimaru's hideout. I sighed again and Sasuke glared at me on e more. "I'm sorry I just miss the Leaf Village." I said. Sasuke just rolled his eyes and we continued on our way. I of course was sulking and walked a little bit behind him.
I really missed the sweet boy that I used to know. Years with Orochimaru changed him to where the man I saw before me seemed like a complete stranger. However despite all of that I would never leave Sasuke. It just isn't my style.
We arrived back at the hideout and Sasuke went to go inform Orochimaru of how our mission went. I didn't like Orochimaru so I tried to stay away from him as much as possible. So I walked toward our room instead. Yes, our room. Orochimaru wouldn't give us separate rooms.
As I was making my way toward our room I ran into Kabuto, yet another person I disliked here. "Hello there Shiki." he said. God there was that stare. I hate that look it felt as if he was going to jump me any minute.
"Yes... Hello indeed..." I murmured warily. Kabuki moved closer and I moved back. We kept up this pattern until I was pressed up against the wall.
"Why are you running away from me? Do you really dislike me that much?" he asked. He pinned me to the wall and caressed my face with his pale clammy hands. I recoiled from his touch. He went to stroke my face again but a hand caught his wrist tightly.
"Let her go Kabuto." Sasuke ordered angrily. I looked at Sasuke and smiled slightly in relief. I was glad to see him but as usual he didn't look happy. Kabuto reluctantly stepped away and I quickly stepped behind Sasuke and pressed myself into his muscular back. Sasuke released Kabuto and seized my wrist roughly. I winced slightly but for the most part I was used to this treatment. Sasuke wasn't big on being soft.
He drug me to our room and tossed me on the bed roughly while he slammed the door shut. "S-Sasuke?" I asked scared. Never had I seen him this agitated before. Sasuke turned and looked at me with fiery eyes. He came over and looked at me sharply. He raised his hand and I flinched slightly. However I opened my eyes slowly at the gentle feeling of his hand cupping my face.
"I'm sorry Shiki, did I scare you?" He asked softly. I nodded and he leaned down and kissed me gingerly. I just couldn't help but kiss back. He broke the kiss and proceeded to place light kisses on my lips. "I'm sorry." he said softly. I smiled and kissed him again.
Sasuke didn't show his tender side often but when he did it reminded me of why I fell in love with him in the first place.
