As swiftly as it had arrived, the enchanting spell of the Christmas holidays dissipated, leaving behind wonderful memories. Hogwarts students, their hearts still lingering with the joy of the festive season, gathered once more at Platform 9¾, their trunks laden with books and robes.
The wintry air crackled with anticipation as students exchanged tales of their holiday adventures, eager to reunite with friends and resume their studies in the hallowed halls of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. With a chorus of excited chatter and the whistle of the Hogwarts Express echoing through the station, they embarked on the journey back to the beloved castle that awaited them, where magic awaited around every corner.
After Yoongi and Jungkook's passionate moment which happened on the chilly afternoon of Boxing Day, they spent the rest of the day speaking about their childhoods, talking about the future, and what might happen with Jungkook's father.
"Will you turn him in?" were the words Yoongi asked Jungkook while laying in Jungkook's arms that night (Yoongi sneaked into his room once Mr Min was asleep).
But Jungkook just sighed with tears in his eyes, saying, "I feel like there is more to this story."
After the night spent at his boyfriend's house, Jungkook returned home to the Parks', spending the following week of the remaining time left they had for the holidays. Jimin then explained to Jungkook how on Boxing Day, Jimin's father had stayed the night. It made Jimin confused, as to why on earth his parents would rekindle their marriage once more, but then again, it made him most happy, knowing that he had both of his parents under one roof.
Namjoon's parents had agreed to the engagement of the teens, although they were still disappointed that their son had told them absolutely nothing about it, so ever since, the couple had been planning dates to finally seal off their love for good.
As the Hogwarts Express rumbled along the tracks, Jimin, Jungkook, and Yoongi found themselves comfortably settled in a compartment, the soft glow of the winter sunlight filtering through the frosted windows. In the midst of their laughter and reminiscing, Jungkook excused himself to visit the restroom, leaving his friends to continue their exchange.
Meanwhile, rumors began to circulate throughout the train as whispers of Jin's whereabouts spread like wildfire. Witnesses claimed to have spotted him slipping into a secluded compartment with one of his mysterious companions, adding an air of intrigue to his already enigmatic persona.
Across the train, Taehyung and Hoseok, known mischief-makers of Hufflepuff, were up to their usual antics, delighting in pulling pranks on unsuspecting students in their year.
