Yoongi, Jimin and Taehyung were in their Potions class the next Tuesday, ready to brew their Amortentia potion, individually.
Taehyung was the first to finish, and then Professor Malfoy asked him to explain the smells coming from it, and Taehyung explained his smells which were: Strawberry milkshake, the smell of rain, and the smell of ink. A weird bunch of smells.
When it came to Yoongi's turn, Yoongi was hesitant to tell the professor, because all which he could smell was old books, the earth's smell after rain, and oranges.
"What do you smell, Min?" Professor Malfoy asks, peeping down at the boy's well-made potion.
Yoongi takes a deep breath, "I smell old books, rain, and oranges."
Professor Malfoy nods satisfied that there are smells coming from it. "Are the scents strong or not?"
"They are, Professor. Especially the oranges" Yoongi says in a small voice. The Professor just nods and writes in his notebook about Yoongi's progress.
"Thank you. I'll be putting your potions into vials and give you your mark at the end of the week" he says while writing. "You can leave class once you clean up."
"Yes, Professor" Yoongi then starts cleaning up his working desk and closed his potion. He made sure to write his name on a piece of parchment to leave next to it as well, and once he was done, he collected his book-bag and joins Taehyung who was waiting for him outside.
"How long do you reckon Jimin will take to finish?" he asks the Hufflepuff.
"Don't know. I saw him struggling" Taehyung says.
"Well, could you wait for him? I need to use the bathroom."
"Yeah, okay, we'll meet you in the Great Hall then."
Yoongi nods and makes his way out of the dungeons. He would've gone to the common room, but he just wanted to explore the castle some more, so he walked over to the third floor bathroom. A bathroom nobody uses.
When he entered, he immediately stopped, seeing a boy who had his back to him, smoke clouding around him.
When he took another step forward, he watched as the boy tipped his head back, blowing out smoke from his mouth, and that was when he noticed who it was. Jungkook.
Yoongi's quiet footsteps made a small sound, and it did not go unnoticed by Jungkook, making the boy turn around to look at Yoongi. But it did not stop him from smoking. He brought the joint to his lips and took a long inhale.
"Yoongi?" Jungkook says, blowing the smoke out right after, making Yoongi scrunch his face up in disgust by the smell. He thought it was a cigarette, a muggle cancer stick that his father loves smoking, but the smell was different.
