Yoongi and Jimin made their way through the castle as they moved toward their first class of the day—Defense Against the Dark Arts. The castle's stone walls felt particularly cold today, though Yoongi couldn't quite tell if it was because of the weather or the growing sense of unease gnawing at him.

He hadn't seen Jungkook at breakfast, and the absence was more unsettling than he wanted to admit. It had been weeks since that strange dream, and though Yoongi had pushed it out of his mind, the lingering fear that something could happen to Jungkook was still there, hovering beneath the surface.

Jimin, walking beside him, was talking animatedly about something Professor Weasley had said in Arithmancy class the previous day, but Yoongi found it hard to focus. His thoughts kept drifting to Jungkook—where he was, why he hadn't shown up at breakfast, if he was okay.

"Are you even listening?" Jimin's voice broke through his thoughts, giving him a playful nudge.

Yoongi blinked, shaking himself back to the present. "Uh, yeah, something about Weasley being... what? A beautiful woman?"

Jimin rolled his eyes. "Close enough," he said with a smirk. "Seriously though, is everything okay? You've been kind of out of it all morning."

Yoongi hesitated, his gaze falling to the floor as they rounded a corner. "I don't know... I just haven't seen Jungkook today, and it's weird. He's usually up before me."

Jimin arched an eyebrow. "Maybe he's planning something. Tomorrow is your birthday, after all."

Yoongi shrugged, trying to brush off the worry. "Maybe."

But as they approached the classroom, Yoongi suddenly spotted a familiar figure walking toward them, and his heart skipped a beat. It was Jungkook, making his way down the hall in their direction, his hands casually shoved into his pockets, that usual confident stride evident in his every step. But there was something different about him today. Something that made Yoongi's breath catch in his throat.

As Jungkook got closer, Yoongi's eyes widened. There, glinting in the soft light of the hallway, was a new piercing on Jungkook's lip—a small silver hoop at the right corner of his mouth. Yoongi's stomach did a flip, and he felt a strange heat rise in his chest. He wasn't sure if it was shock, attraction, or both, but whatever it was, it was intense. The piercing gave Jungkook an even more dangerous, rugged edge, and Yoongi found himself low-key turned on by it.

Jimin's eyes also landed on the piercing, and he let out a low whistle. "Well, well, look who decided to join us," Jimin said, a teasing smile forming on his lips. "And look at the new accessory. What's the occasion?"

Jungkook grinned, his lip curling slightly around the hoop, and Yoongi's pulse quickened at the sight. "Thought it was time for a change," Jungkook replied nonchalantly, though his gaze immediately flickered to Yoongi, who still hadn't said a word.
