HE SAID HE WAS GOING TO CALL HER but he didn't, he was too nervous to call her and maybe someone else would pick up or she wouldn't remember him since 2 more weeks had already went by. He figured for someone with looks like hers she had options and a roster full of potential.
It was just that one time he said "FUCK IT". And texted her stupidly at 9:54 pm leaving himself checking to see if she were going to respond.
The next morning she didn't open his message until about 12pm reciting how she was looking for him a while ago.
"hey, I didn't see this till just now I was hoping you'd call or text the week I gave you my #"
She was bold enough to reply curiously and question where he was during the 2 weeks.
He replied with an apology hoping to see her the same day.

HE DID NOT LIKE COFFEE, but he liked her which was why he sat with an empty cup in front of him. He continued admiring how she spoke not really caring about what she was talking about.
He stopped zoning out at her face and started acknowledging her voice.
"So I just went for something else I could you know help other people, so many people get so discouraged when they enter the hospital it's so sad. Cause I know with the certain preparations it can be done!" She released
"I forget good hospitals have positions like yours, because nurses and doctors and surgeons fill up the building"He added
"Yea, they usually just think they're better than everyone else because they've got more experience" she laughed.
It was small things like this that bought them closer together, enough to be able to relate with each other without releasing their personal experience.
Their communication grew throughout the once in a while hangout, to the "I'm gonna come see you" hangout. Most of the time she'd stop by right before "The Beef" would close so they could "just talk" in an empty booth. It wasn't just Richie that could tell the difference from when he'd talk to anyone else compared to how he'd talk to Bea. He'd go from loud mouth straight to gentle face to face talk, almost like he was whispering.
