Axel smiled as Charlie cuddled up to her. Watching the stars, small images flashed in her head. Where has she seen this? Her world warps into something she hadn't seen, she wasn't herself? A blood red dress, and Charlie stood with a smirk. Then it was gone, back to her sitting with Charlie. She gave a nervous smile still a bit confused. Zuri smirked as they watched the two. The ship was sailing. But overall they sighed knowing they had to get Soul back to Bellsburg, as it was going to shit. Soul walked with Zuri back to Bellsburg as night fell. "I'll see you in the morning" Zuri waved to Soul, as they went their own way. Soul made her way into her bakery and upstairs. And flopped down on her bed.
She gasped, and sat up. "Captain!" A girl immediately rushed to her side. "Your awake! I'm so sorry, I-" The girl hiccupped. Confused Soul gently held her hand. "I didn't know Charlotte would attack, you two loved each other- I didn't know" Who? "I'm sorry, but who are you?" The girl immediately started crying. "Please- Axel! You can't forget! Not again! Dammit!" She collapsed to the ground crying. Soul immediately worried. "A-again?!" "You keep forgetting Axel, pl-please remember me!" Soul slowly put the pieces together. "I don't remember your name, I'm sure I'll remember if you remind me" This was odd, in all Soul's flashes and visions, she was never able to control them or herself. "H-Harley" Harley wiped her tears from her face. Soul nodded slowly. Some memories flashd in her mind. "You can't forget again, please promise me" "I promise"
Soul sat up, confused. Where was she? Oh that's right her home. She quickly got up and dressed. As she left it felt off. "Soul! I swear to God! Where were you?!" Ash asked as she grabbed Soul's arm. "I-" "what the fuck?! What happened to you? You have wings- and look like a warden?" Soul gave a nervous smile. "I'm not sure" Ash sighed. "Fine, but come on" Soul quickly followed behind Ash. Tripping a bit as Ash walked fast. Soul then scowled as Logan came into view. Roxy talking about something. Payton ran to Soul and hugged her. Soul gently picked Payton up and continued walking behind Ash. "Finally, we have a major issue-" "is it the fact there's a literal traitor in front of me?" Soul interrupted Roxy, still glaring at Logan. Logan went quiet and stayed looking at the ground. "Now is not the time to be petty! Sam wants war and he wants a deal with you" that caught Soul's attention.
Sam smirked from across the table at Soul and Ash. "So what do you want" Ash asked, being straightforward as usual. "A deal" "what kind of deal?" Soul's voice piped up. "A duel, if you win you can have your pathetic nation's freedom" that made all of them listen, before Ash spoke up. "What if you win" The other's waited for Sam's replay. He paused and chuckled. "Smart question. You still get freedom" that made Soul suspicious. "Alright. I'll do it-" "no you're not. I want to do it against Soul" Everyone went silent. "Escuse me?" Ellie glared harshly at Sam. "She has 3 lives left, and even if she dies and looses it's not in vain" Ash thought. Soul was scared, barely 14. "I do want to talk to her in private though" Before Ellie could protest, Ash mived everyone out.
"There's a catch isn't there?" Soul asked softly, as Sam smirked. "Smart girl. Yes there is" He stood up and snapped his fingers. All of a sudden the room went black. Soul stood in the center, confused. Then Sam appeared. "You see Soul, you are powerful. I need you as my tool" Sam's voice echoed from all around, causing Soul to step back. "What...what are you?" Sam laughed. "I was a God, now I'm merely a demigod. Here's the twist to the deal Soul" Sam snapped his fingers again. Soul's eyes widened as she saw Charlie chained to the ground. "I have your little girlfriend, if you don't agree, then I'll expose her as a traitor. Killing her, such a shame she's on her last life to" Soul paused in shock. "What areyou gaining from this?!" Sam grinned. "Well if you loose, Bellsburg does get freedom, but if you loose you become my puppet" Soul was shocked. "You- you can't do that" "oh but I can! Your little visions allow me to, make a choice. And remember...Charlie's life is on the line"
