Charlie gave a small smile as Payton showed her a picture. As messy as it was Payton drew a picture of Charlie and Soul. "Aw this is so sweet" Charlie smiled as she hung it up. Payton smiled as the kid went outside to find Soul. Charlie chuckled softly as she saw Soul aggressively flapping her wings, and failing to even hover. Charlie had grown quite fond of Soul, a few nights ago almost kissing her. Her life seemed content. "Hey Soul" Soul turned to her immediately and grinned a goofy smile. "Hi Charlie, I thought I told you to call me Axel?" "You just told me you were Axel I think" Soul made a oh sound. Zuri was walking by and smirked, and continued on their way, muttering "simps" under their breath.

Charlie was in another meeting with Sam. Him pacing back and forth while Snow rolled her eyes. "You can beat her in a duel easily" Snow scoffed. Charlie glared at the snow fox. Snow used to be more tolerable, now Charlie couldn't stand her. Since Snow even found out Soul was a Warden from the under city, she acted like Soul was a monster. In Charlie's eyes Soul was like a golden retriever. "I'm aware, we need leveeage over her. Didn't you two used to date?" "Ugh don't remind me" Snow fake gagged. Clearly annoyed with remembering about Soul. "We can use that right? She's probably still in love" Sam glanced at Charlie, as if to mock her. Charlie had already figured out Sam found out about her small crush on Soul, so this was a kick in the guts.

Charlie returned home expecting a empty house. Only to see the spirit hybird waiting with a grin. Just proving her point about Soul being a golden retriever. "Well look who it is" she smiled. Soul waved and hugged her. "Where have you been, I've been here all alone" "Where's the kids?" Charlie tilted her head while asking. "Ellie wanted to watch them, she's like a grandma" Ellie truly did act like a parent to Soul, now a grandparent to the triplets. "Oh? Why's that" Soul groaned and plopped herself on the couch, Charlie joining her. "I think her and Zuri are up to something, Zuri keeps calling me a simp" Charlie chuckled. Soul's expression changed a bit. "Ash keeps talking about work, that's all she ever talks about now" Charlie gave her sad look. Soul was always following Ash around, obeying orders with no questions, but even sometimes the most loyal people grow tired. "I know, love. But shes stressed, she'll get over it soon I'm sure" Soul had to literally hold back a squeak as Charlie called her love. Soul was always used to Charlie calling her Ghostie or S but the word love made her feel warm inside. In the best way possible. She didn't just want to have the nickname or pet name love, she wanted to be Charlie's love. Her one true love, the person she'd think about at night, the person she'd always turn to for help, the person who'd stay up all night doing stuff or talking with, the person who even after death they'd be together. Soul's love was beyond just friends like what Ash wanted.

If Ash knew she was even talking to Charlie, she'd be mad. Probably exile Soul, but she'd do it for Charlie. It was odd, with Snow she didn't feel this way. She felt as if anytime she was around Charlie, she mught collapse with how weak her legs felt. Anytime Charlie touched her, she felt as if her heart would explode. This feeling was something she never wanted to let go of, she could loose every life she had left, loose Bellsburg, loose everyone, just to see Charlie again. Love like this is something real.
