The Herring Gull Thieves.
In Llandudno's breeze, where cliffs meet the shore,
Herring gulls soar, their hunger galore.
With wings outstretched, they scan the land,
Seeking morsels from the public's hand.A sandwich snatched, a swift swoop unseen,
A man's dismay, a wife's laughter keen.
The gull, triumphant, with stolen delight,
Flees to the sky, a daring flight.Next, an ice cream cone, sweet and cold,
A woman's treat, her grip tight hold.
But a gull descends with audacious grace,
Stealing dessert, leaving but a trace. Her husband's ire, a shout in vain,
As the gull takes flight, with sugary gain.
In the midst of chaos, gulls engage,
Over a bread piece tossed from the pier's stage.A flurry of feathers, a squabble intense,
For a mere crumb, they show no pretense.
In Llandudno's skies, a spectacle unfolds,
As nature's scavengers, their hunger molds.Through laughter and shouts, and fights in the air,
The herring gulls persist, with a bold affair.
In Llandudno's tale, they play their part,
Flying thieves, with a cunning heart.
