CHAPTER 7

-2 DAYS LATER-

Two days had passed since you and Arizona had hung out at the coffee shop, you were looking forward to seeing her again. You got ready at home and made your way to the coffee shop. When you arrived you saw Arizona was already there waiting for you.

"What a coincidence!" I laughed

"It sure is," Arizona smiled back at you, you caught her admiring you from top to bottom. She was wearing a nice dress that accentuated her figure perfectly and her makeup was on point as usual.

"Are you off shift today?" I asked while looking at the menu

"Yeah, today was a bit more relaxed," Arizona looked up at you and smiled, as she did her bright smile caught your eyes and kept you mesmerized in her beauty.

"I'm off shift to, but my day is planned with decorating and painting my apartment." I stated while smiling

"That sounds fun, are you going to be decorating the entire apartment or just the living room?" Arizona asked curiously, she was hoping that she could help you decorate.

"All of it, you can join if you'd like." I questioned

"That would be great," Arizona smiled at you, she was actually glad you asked her, it meant that she would get to spend a lot of time with you.

I ordered my coffee and waited for it

Arizona also ordered her coffee and you both sat there chatting about nothing in particular. Once both coffees arrived you both began to drink them while still chatting.

"Ready to go paint? You can borrow some of my old clothes to wreck." I smiled

"Perfect, I wouldn't wanna mess up one of my good outfits," Arizona laughed, she liked the fact that you were so casual about lending her your clothes. "Ready when you are."

I got up and walked to my car waiting for Arizona to come

Arizona got up and followed you as you made your way to your car, she was enjoying spending all this time with you. You both arrive at your apartment and get out of the car, you head up to your apartment to get started.

I gave her some of my clothes and showed her where she could get changed.

"Thanks," Arizona said, she took the clothes and went over to get changed. She came back shortly after in the clothes you had given her, she was now going to be able to get dirty and not ruin one of her nice outfits.

"I just bought this." I smiled "The apartment is quite old but it was quite cheap."

"Old doesn't mean bad, it just needs a little love," Arizona said, she was always such a positive person. She liked the fact that the apartment was an affordable option for you, she knew that it wasn't always easy to manage things financially.

"Two bedrooms and 1 bathroom, and the kitchen and living room and joined together." I smiled

"That's actually pretty nice," Arizona said, she was impressed that you could find an apartment with two bedrooms that was also an affordable option for you. She knew how hard it was to manage financially and she was proud of you for being so resourceful in finding a suitable place to stay.

"Just looking for a roommate or something." I grabbed two paint brushes and gave one to her.

"Good luck finding a roommate," Arizona said with a genuine smile, she knew the struggle of finding a roommate. She took the paint brush and began to start painting the wall next to you.

"Then after we paint, i'm gonna have to sweep the floor." I laughed

"Great, we get to deal with messy floor stuff too," Arizona joked, she was a clean person and liked things being neat. "I'll help with that too," she said as she kept painting the walls.

"You sure?" I asked

"Absolutely," Arizona smiled, she was always happy to help people. She kept painting the wall, she was excited about decorating your apartment with you and she liked being so helpful.

We finished 4 walls but we had many more to go.

"We're making really good progress," Arizona smiled and kept painting, her artistic side was coming out to the surface and she was being very creative with her painting, she was also just enjoying being able to spend time with you.

I put my paint brush down and sat in a chair admiring Arizona.

Arizona was almost unaware of you looking at her, she was too focused on painting but she looked back and saw you sitting in the chair admiring her. It took her a second to realize what you were doing but when she did she smiled at you and continued painting, she was glad that you seemed to like what you saw.

"You can take a break." I laughed

"Yeah I think I might need one," Arizona said, she was starting to get a little tired from all the painting. She put down her paintbrush and walked over to the chair next to you, she sat down with a stretch.

I rested my head on her shoulder hoping she wouldn't move her shoulder.

Arizona felt you put your head on her shoulder, she didn't seem to mind at all and just let your head rest there, she liked having you so close to her and she felt really comfortable with you.

"Long day." I yawned

"Yeah, it really has been," Arizona yawned back and stretched, she was starting to feel quite tired too after all this work.

"You can stay over if you want, i've only put a bed in the guest bedroom if you want that." I smiled

"I think I might take you up on that offer," Arizona smiled, she really wasn't enjoying the idea of going back to her empty apartment all alone for the night, she was really enjoying being with you.

"I'll take the couch." I got up and began to clean up the paint

"I'll help," Arizona said standing up, she didn't want you to have to clean everything up on your own, she had made a big mess in the apartment too and she wanted to be responsible and clean as much as possible before it got too late.

We cleaned all of it up

Arizona was glad that all of it had been cleaned up, she really didn't like the idea of waking up to a messy apartment in the morning.

"Well, I guess we're done for the day," Arizona smiled and stretched, she was feeling tired and couldn't wait to just crash on the bed in your guest room.

"Are you sure the guest bedroom is ok?" I asked

"Are you going to let me sleep in the same bed as you?" Arizona smirked, this was the first time she had been that forward with you but she felt so comfortable with you that she couldn't stop herself from being a little flirty.

I began to stutter," I have the couch."

Arizona laughed at the way you blushed and started stuttering, she couldn't help but think you were adorable when you got like this. "No, no, it's fine," Arizona assured you, she was just happy to be spending the night with you, she didn't really care about which room she was staying in.

I hid my face

Arizona put her hand under your chin and looked at you, she knew you were hiding your face and she wanted to see how embarrassed you were.

I went a scarlett red

"You're such a blushy girl," Arizona said with a smirk as she continued to playfully look at you. She had never seen anyone get this flustered around her before but she loved that you were so shy and so genuine.

I grabbed her waist

"Y/N.." Arizona gasped
