"Just another stressful surgery." I stood up off the OR floor.

Arizona chuckled, "Just another day in paradise," she agreed with you.

I patted myself down

You searched your pockets looking for something, you could feel the stress from the long day begin to melt away as Arizona's calming energy surrounded you.

"I'm going off shift, if you care to join me going to Joes across the hospital?" I asked

"I'd love to," Arizona smiled, she liked the idea of grabbing coffee and chatting after a long day of work.

"Let me just get changed, and i'll meet you in reception." I smiled

Arizona nodded, "I'll wait out here for you," she said as she gave you a friendly wave.

I walked off into the on call room and began to get changed into my civilian clothes

After a couple minutes you finished changing Into a more comfortable outfit, you looked in the mirror and realized how tired you looked. Working long hours was starting to take its toll.

I yawned and headed to reception to meet arizona

As you walked into the reception area you looked around for a second until you spotted Arizona sitting in one of the chairs. She had a big smile on her face and her energy was very contagious.

"You ready." I held my arm out for her to hook onto

"Yep, let's go," Arizona grabbed onto your arm and you began walking out of the hospital towards the coffee shop.

We walked across the road and entered the coffee shop

Inside was a nice cozy atmosphere, it was nice and quiet. Arizona led you two a table in the corner and sat down, she signaled to the waiter and asked for two coffees.

"I really needed this!" I smiled at her warmly

Arizona smiled back at you, "It's nice to finally have some time to relax," she said, she looked like she was enjoying the coffee shop atmosphere.

The coffees arrived at our table

Arizona picked up her coffee and took a sip, she smiled at you, "This place is so nice and quiet," she said as she took another sip.

"It's so cozy, and did I tell you what happened to one of my patients." I questioned

"No, what happened?" Arizona asks curiously, she's always interested in hearing about your patients.

"She fell from a 3 story house and survived, I was in shock myself." I picked up my coffee sipping it

"No way! That's crazy, how did she survive that?" Arizona asked, she was shocked by the story but also impressed by your abilities as a doctor.

"No clue, I had to fix 5 vertebras and page Amelia in case of the nerve but good luck it was nothing." I placed my coffee down

Arizona looked at you in awe, "Amazing, you're a true miracle worker," she said admiringly, you were always able to pull off the impossible.

"Oh stop it you." I covered my face

Arizona laughed at your modesty, "I'm just speaking the truth," she said, her voice was soft and her expression was warm.

*We talked for hours and laughed, and knew it was time to go home to get some rest*

Arizona finished her coffee and looked at her watch, she was surprised by how much time had passed since they had arrived at the coffee shop.
