Chapter IV
No One POV

Boxes sat scattered around the room. The walls looking very bare. Clothes were strewn across the bed, a pile of folded ones, and a pile of clothes that still needed to be folded. Meanwhile downstairs Izuku sat holding onto his mother, sobbing. It had really hit him how long he was going to be gone, and he had started having a mental breakdown. His mother sat there trying to  comfort him, but was ultimately failing. He really wanted his mate, but sadly Katsuki's mother had said that if he trained all day today, he wouldn't have to train the next two days, Izuku's last two days in Japan until after the movie was filmed. "Izuku sweetie, it's going to be okay." Inko said trying to comfort her crying son. "But..a year is such a long time!" He cried out, clinging tighter to his mother.

"It is, but sweetie, this is a really good opportunity, and you can't back out now." She said wiping his tears. He just nodded before burying his face in her shoulder. She let out a calming scent, and after a couple minutes Izuku was asleep. She laid him down on the couch and then walked upstairs, and into his room. She finished packing his things before dragging them box after box to their garage.

She called the number that said they were going to pick up his things and after about 20 minutes a van pulled up. The driver got out, checked that Inko was the person who called, and then loaded up the boxes and then drove away. She sighed before going inside and starting dinner as it was already almost 6 o'clock. She had just put the prepared meal in the oven to cook when she heard a knock on the door.

She quickly brushed her hands off on her apron, she then walked to the door. She opened it to see Katsuki, Mitsuki, and Masaru. "Oh! Come in." She said stepping out of the way. "Where's Izu?" Katsuki asked as he walked in the door. "He's asleep on the couch, he had a mental breakdown earlier while packing." Inko said before turning Mitsuki and Masaru, seeing Katsuki walk into the living room out of the corner of her eye.

"Baby." Katsuki said gently, sitting down next to Izuku. "Kacchan?" Izuku asked as he slightly opened his eyes. "Yeah. It's me." Katsuki said gently stroking Izuku's cheek. Izuku immediately sat up throwing himself in Katsuki's arms. "I'm here baby." Katsuki said rubbing Izuku's back, as Izuku clung to him. He also released a calming scent that made Izuku bury his nose in his mate's scent gland.

Just as the couple was having their moment, Katsuki's mom came running into the room. "Oh Izuku!" She shouted as she went to pull Izuku away from Katsuki. Mitsuki had never really understood her son's relationship. She was an alpha, but Masaru was also an alpha, so they didn't express a lot of the same factors that played into Katsuki and Izuku's relationship.

Just as she was about to grab Izuku, Katsuki turned and a growl erupted from his throat. Deeper than any growl any of them had heard before. Izuku whimpered and curled into Katsuki more. Katsuki's growl made Izuku's mind scream danger, making him want to get even closer to his mate, who would protect him. Mitsuki stopped and stared at her son. Inko walked in with a smile on her face.

"Katsuki honey, first off, your mother isn't a threat to Izuku, and second, that was great." Izuku said as she stood in the doorway. At her words Katsuki seemed to snap out of his daze. "What do you mean that was great?" Mitsuki asked turning to Inko. "Well Izuku is an omega and Katsuki is his alpha mate. Anything that an alpha sees as a threat to their omega is going to make them want to protect them. The growl is a way to assert dominance and to show that they will protect their mate. So despite the fact that you aren't a threat to Izuku, the fact that Katsuki is willing to challenge you, someone he knows is stronger than him, shows that he will protect Izuku at all costs." Inko explained.

"Boys! Dinner is ready!" Inko shouted as she pulled the main dish out of the oven. "You're lucky, I usually make extra because Katsuki likes to heat is up most days for Izuku and himself." Inko said as she set the table. She put two extra chairs at the table and then went to get the waters. Mitsuki and Masaru had just sat down when Katsuki and Izuku walked into the dining room. They both took their seats and started putting food on their plates. After a minute Inko had set all the waters on the table and sat down herself and started putting food on her plate. Mitsuki and Masaru waited until the rest had served themselves before serving themselves.

None of the others waited for them before starting to eat. Katsuki and Izuku were chatting with Inko while Mitsuki and Masaru just sat there. They didn't usually talk at dinner, as Mitsuki didn't find it be very polite, but Inko was a very laid back woman, and often started the conversations they had while eating.

Finally they all finished dinner and Katsuki stood up grabbing Izuku, Inko, and his own plate and chopsticks. He kissed Izuku's cheek before walking over and setting them in the sink. Katsuki then came back and after saying goodbye to his parents walked upstairs with Izuku. They put on a movie and then just relaxed and cuddled the rest of the night.

After dinner Mitsuki and Masaru sat down with Inko and talked for a while about how this next year was going to go. Inko had expressed the fact that she was pretty sure as long as this movie filming went well, that Izuku was going to get more invites with companies to shoot more films. It wasn't until late than Mitsuki and Masaru went home. Little did any of them know that when they got home Mitsuki and Masaru had a huge argument over Katsuki. One that went well into the night. In the end Masaru had won the argument.
