Chapter XII
No One POVA month later and you could very much see the muscle Katsuki had built up over the summer. And he didn't plan to stop training even if he got into UA. He already knew that the training they did in UA was nothing compared to the training he was already doing. He really was only going there because that's really where he could hone in on his quirk, and he still did have to go to high school. Even though he could probably become a hero now if he took the test.
Today was the entrance exam. It would start at 10 o'clock. He woke up at 6 o'clock getting out of bed and putting on a pair of shorts and a plain T-shirt. He then grabbed his phone and earbuds heading downstairs. He was at his actual house today so he saw his mother making breakfast. He sat down on the couch waiting for breakfast to be done. While he waited he pulled out his phone texting Izuku. It was roughly 5 o'clock PM where Izuku was, so he should be eating dinner right now. He had started actually working a couple weeks ago but he usually got back by 4:30 and then would go down to eat dinner.
'Hey baby.' Katsuki sent. He waited a couple minutes before he got a response. 'Hey Kacchan!' Izuku responded. 'I take the entrance exam today.' Katsuki sent, he had told Izuku when the exam was but it had been a couple weeks. 'I would wish you luck but you don't need it.' Izuku said and Katsuki knew that Izuku was smiling as he sent the message. 'That's right.' Katsuki sent as he smirked.
'I still have a couple hours before I have to leave, anything interesting happen with you?' Katsuki asked. They texted most days but sometimes Izuku would get back and be tired so Hana or Alex would get him dinner and he would eat it in his room and then go straight to bed. Hana and Alex were very much like his older siblings always making sure he was eating and sleeping.
'No, I do have a shoot tomorrow though, we have to get there extra early and we aren't going to get back until at least 7. Alex already promised that he would meet us in his and Hana's with food and then we could all sleep there. We have it for a couple weeks too.' Izuku told him. 'Text me after the exam what all happened. I'll see whenever I get some free time.' Izuku said and Katsuki could tell Izuku was not happy about it. 'Okay, just remember to sleep and eat. I love you, I'll tell you when I get my results which should be in roughly three weeks.' Katsuki said as he sighed.
He was disappointed that he wouldn't be able to immediately tell Izuku how the entrance exam went but neither of them could really do anything about it. 'Okay, I love you too, I'm going to go now, I finished dinner a couple minutes ago and I'm exhausted. Bye Kacchan.' Izuku sent before he turned off his phone. Katsuki sighed as he turned off his phone tossing it to the side.
"Katsuki! Breakfast!" Mitsuki yelled pulling Katsuki out of his thoughts. "I'm right here, you don't have to yell." Katsuki said as he walked into the dining room. He sat down piling food onto his plate. His mom found it disrespectful to do so but Katsuki didn't really care. He was hungry and he was going to need a lot of energy today.
He finished eating and left the table clearing his spot before grabbing his things, slipping on a pair of sneakers and then leaving the house. He popped one of his earbuds in before starting on a short run to Inko's house. He arrived and gently knocked on the door. After a minute the door opened and Katsuki saw Inko who smiled at him. "Ah Katsuki, come in." She said happily letting him in. "You have the entrance exam today right?" She asked as she closed the door behind him. "Yeah, I texted Izuku this morning. It's only like 5 o'clock there and he was already exhausted." Katsuki said worry clear in his voice. "It will be alright Katsuki, he has Hana and Alex, if he starts to overwork himself too much they will stop him." She said gently assuring him.
Katsuki hung out at Inko's for a while before he had to leave to go to the entrance exam. He arrived at UA and took in the pure size of the building for a moment before walking through the gates. He had no issues as he was assigned a room to take the written exam. They had three hours to do it. Katsuki opened the thick packet and started answering the questions.
A lot of the questions were really easy. Katsuki was slightly shocked because he had heard that the written exam would be one of the hardest tests you could take. He slightly scoffed at that. Some of the questions were even opinion questions. He finished within an hour and then checked through the packet.
He then shrugged as he got up and walked forward setting the test down on the teacher's desk. The male had his eyes closed and was not paying attention so the loud noise of the packet falling onto the desk startled him.
"You're done already?" The male asked. He was wearing all black and to be honest, kinda looked like a hobo. "Yeah, that would be why I'm handing it in." Katsuki said as he rolled his eyes. He knew he was supposed to respect this man as he was a teacher and most likely a hero, but he just couldn't when the male looked that way he did. He knew the male probably had a hidden strength, but if he didn't see it he couldn't respect it.
"Alright, if you're sure." The male said taking the packet. "You may go to the auditorium and chill while the others finish the test or you may leave, just be back in time for the practical test." The male said as he opened the packet and started grading it. Katsuki rolled his eyes as he left the classroom walking towards the auditorium.
