XXIII

Chapter XXIII
No One POV

Izuku whimpered as he moved around trying to find the things that smelled most like Katsuki, letting his nose guide him. He was endlessly searching his closet when he found it. He pulled the item out, it was the jacket that Katsuki had given his at the airport, he hadn't worn it since that day so it smelled very strongly of Katsuki. He pulled it on immediately inhaling the scent.

He sighed as the pain went away slightly. He collapsed to the ground and just sat there inhaling the scent. He didn't hear the door open, and he didn't hear Alex enter. Alex entered the apartment, and was immediately smacked in the face with the strong pheromones. He took a deep breath before entering the apartment and closing the door.

He then walked around looking for Izuku. He hadn't heard any noises, but he knew Izuku was here, because he didn't have anywhere else he would be. He then entered Izuku's bedroom and from there he could smell the stronger pheromones coming from the closet. He walked into the closet and saw Izuku sitting with his eyes closed a jacket he had never seen before wrapped around him. It definitely wasn't Izuku's jacket as it was an athletic jacket and it was way to big on him.

He walked over and knelt down. "Izuku." He said gently as he put his hands on the smaller male's shoulders. Izuku's eyes snapped open and widened at the sight of Alex. He immediately went to move backwards but ended up falling onto the ground harshly landing on his arm. He let out a whimper of pain as he curled up. "Hey it's okay, I'm not going to do anything to you." Alex said gently as he set a hand on Izuku's arm.

Izuku cautiously sat up and looked at Alex. "You promise?" Izuku whispered as he stared at Alex. "I promise, I see you as my little brother, I would never dream of ever doing anything to you." Alex said as he opened his arms. Izuku didn't wait as he threw himself into Alex's arms, stuffing his nose into Alex's scent gland. Alex then saw the scent gland still covering Izuku's scent gland. He rubbed Izuku's back as he gently started to pull it off.

He had it about half way off when Izuku realized what he was doing. "No!" Izuku yelled as he pulled Alex's hand away. "Hey, it's okay, Katsuki already told me." Alex said gently as he brushed his fingers through Izuku's hair. "Y-you don't hate me?" Izuku asked as tears pricked his eyes. "No, I could never hate you, as long as you are happy it doesn't bother me at all." Alex said with a comforting smile.

Izuku gave a smile before sinking back into Alex's embrace. Alex smiled as he finished peeling the scent patch off. He stared at the mark for a minute. It was completely healed, and looked old, it was faded and was completely scarred over. He could tell they had been mated for quite a while, mate marks were known to be red for a year or two after the mark was made.

He rested his chin on Izuku's head and gently rubbed his back as Izuku snuggled closer, resting his nose against Alex's scent gland. It was slightly weird for Alex as he and Hana weren't very intimate with their scents, only really ever gently scenting each other, and even that they didn't do very often. It wasn't uncomfortable though.

He waited a little while before he realized that Izuku was asleep. He then gently picked him up, being careful not to jostle him and then made his way to the living room. He set Izuku down and then walked over to the kitchen. He got two glasses of water before preparing himself a plate of food. Omega's rarely ate in heat, but they would drink, if you could convince them too.

He sighed as he made his way back over to Izuku. He sat down setting the cups down. Izuku immediately grabbed at him pulling himself closer to him. Alex let him adjust himself, and once he stopped moving he carefully adjusted him slightly so they would both be comfortable.

He then grabbed the remote to the TV and put on a show that caught his interest. He then grabbed his plate of food and started eating. Izuku slept for a while before waking up and without moving started watching the show that was playing on the TV. Alex hadn't even realized he was awake until Izuku groaned and curled in on himself as a wave of pain hit him.

Alex was frozen for a second before he went into action pulling Izuku into his arms and rubbing his stomach. "Shh." He whispered soothingly as he released a calming scent. Izuku clung to his tightly as sobs raked his chest. Alex just let his cry as he continued to try to soothe him.

After almost an hour the pain finally stopped and Izuku collapsed in exhaustion against Alex. Alex was caught off guard when Izuku went limp but he didn't let Izuku fall. After a couple minutes Izuku sat up. "Does Hana know?" He asked quietly. It took Alex a minute to realize what Izuku was talking about before he responded. "No, do you want me to tell her?" Alex asked. Izuku shook his head. "I'll tell her..after my heat." Izuku said twisting his fingers.

"Okay." Alex responded with a gentle smile. "She won't hate you, she might not be happy about it but as long as you are happy with it she won't say anything to you about it." Alex said trying to comfort Izuku. Izuku nodded. "What would you like to know?" Izuku asked staring at his hands.

"When did it happen, your mark doesn't seem fresh." Alex asked. "We mated on my 13th birthday, Kacchan had asked both of our parents before asking me. He asked me and I was overjoyed and agreed, and we spent that night cuddling and then he braced me for it, and then marked me. It hurt, a lot too, but Kacchan was comforting me, so it wasn't as bad as it could have been." Izuku paused.

"You couldn't separate us for anything the rest of that week." Izuku said as he chuckled. "How long have you guys been together?" Alex asked. "Well..." Izuku said as he laughed. "Me and Kacchan were five when we saw his parents kissing. They later had to explain to us what love was. It wasn't even a year later when Kacchan declared his love for me. We weren't really in love, we were only 5 and 6 but as time went by it did eventually grow into love." Izuku explained with a smile on his face.
Alex couldn't help but laugh. "Yeah, Kacchan's been my whole world, my entire life." Izuku said with a smile. "It sounds like it." Alex said as he smiled at Izuku. "I can't wait to see him again." Izuku said with a sad smile and he pulled the jacket tighter around him. "Is that his jacket?" Alex asked.

"Yeah, he gave it to me the day I left." Izuku explained as he leaned against Alex. Izuku then yawned and curled into Alex. "Tired?" Alex asked and he wrapped an arm around Izuku. Izuku gave a small nod as he closed his eyes and started to slowly fall asleep.
