Author's pov :

Arianna slowly opened her eyes and was met with lights that binded her she closed her eyes unaccustomed with the brightness that suddenly surrounded her .

She clenched her head due to massive amount of pain .

"Ah"

"Whe-where am i ? "She thought

She felt something tug her hand and saw Ross helding her hand and sleeping with his head on bed .

Then she remembered everything.

The slap, the punch, the beatings, the torture everything that happened in Martin mansion .

This time they went beyond their limits .

Her heart saddened and tears prickled in her eyes .

But one thing warmed her heart - Him .

He came and saved her .

Even if he didn't loved her ,he protected her which made her respect him.

He sure was a gentleman and caring husband .

She is glad she agreed to give him to give their marriage a chance .

Even if Ross didn't loved her him fullfilling duty of a husband was enough for her ,she smiled sadly.

After all she couldn't be that selfish.
She should be content now she got care that she didn't ever recieve.

And surely Ross wouldn't want  her after  he gets to know how much ugly she is how much broken she is .
If he wanted she would happily leave him so that he didn't suffer .

She smiled sadly.

How cruel Destiny is taking away the things she wanted to cherish the most .

But it's okay she got herself she got Jules and probably she got him even if it was for a short time .

"Ahh" her head ached  her body burning with heat .

Ross opened his eyes when he heard a soft whimper .

"Arianna you are awake" .

"Ahh" she cried painfully .

"Wha- what happened baby ? Are you alright ? "

"Doctor !!! My wife's awake she's in pain come fast "

"Nurse give me the injection"

Doctor slowly injected it and Arianna's groaned in pain .

"The fuck you doing  doc my wife is still in pain what are you doing?"

"Calm down sir your wife needs rest we have injected the antibiotics she will be fine soon she no longer needs tubes so we have removed them but there will be alot of pain you need to take care of her properly  "

"Ahhh  its-pa-pain-ing "

" calm down baby don't worry I am here" he hugged her as doctor slowly injected the medicine.

"Ros-ss "she sobbed .

"Shh shh don't worry sweetheart nothing will happen the pain will go away I am here with you "

"W-water"

He quickly gave her water but she was so weak she couldn't even hold the glass tears prickled in her eyes .

"Here drink" Ross said holding the glass and slowly making her drink water .

"Do you need more ? "

Ari shook her head .

"Alright" he said pulling out his handkerchief and wiping away the water from her face.

She blushed with this.

Chuckling he made her slowly sit and gently hugged her .

"You scared me ari I -i thought I would lose you"

The next thing that  happened shocked her  .
