Chapter 17

Ross pov :

Today I have taken off from my work . Today I will sort out everything but the problem is I don't know how to start a conversation with her whenever I try to talk to her she starts stammering what must I do sighing I thought I should ask David he's the best person in things like this .

Just as I was thinking my phone ranged displaying David's name on screen . Speak of the devil .

I picked up the phone" David I was about to call you only". "Oh my pleasure the mighty lord thought to contact me what honour have i done ? "

This guy is sure is dramatic why did I made him my friend ?anyways...

I asked for his advice as I narrated my thoughts to which he advised me a really good plan.

So this guy is not all nuts he's got the skills well not like I am gonna tell him anyways.

I quickly made  notes  in my mind for the whole process gosh what if she does not like or more worse what if she responds negatively.

I am so nervous - wait why the heck I am nervous groaning I went to dress up and descended downstairs looking for her when I collided with a small body immediately knowing who it was my hands encircled her waist before she could fall . Her eyes closed as if she was scared she would fall any moment I won't let you fall ever I thought .

"Loves in the air" my subconscious mocked shut up I said aloud as soon as I said those words she open her eyes and stood away at a distance from me mummbering "sor-sorry I was-wasnt looking".My eyes widened as soon as I realised I said those words aloud "no no it's okay I wasn't refering to you "I said clearing my throat . She felt to right in my arms . Stupid subconscious now she's scared more of me .

"Are you free for sometime today ? I want to talk to you about something." She stood there silently as if lost somewhere and then said "yes - I mean i- am free wh-what do you want to ta-talk with me? ".
"Let's go in garden" I said holding her by wrist gently and taking her to our lawn .
"Oh- okay".

Author's pov :

Both stood silent for a while .
Arianna was growing nervous as the seconds passed and Ross gaze on  her  wasn't helping her at all . She started fidgeting her fingers worried for what he was about to say . 

You have got to be strong ari ask him he might be in some trouble. "Wh-what do you want to talk ab-about ?". She said looking at her feet not daring to face him .

Soon a white rose came into her view and suprised she looked up .

"Arriana I know I have been a jerk to you and treated you wrongly I am sorry I want to give  our marriage a chance if that's alright with you" he said shocking her . Her eyes widened with his words and tears gathered in her eyes . Was she dreaming . Her husband the same person who loathed her existence is standing here before her asking for a chance .

She couldn't believe his words only tears started to fall down her beautiful face Ross grew worried 'fuck what I did maybe she hates me now I shouldn't have mistreated her God what should i- his thoughts were cut by her  . 

"ye-yes i-i am rea-ready "she said slowly accepting the rose just as those words left her mouth ,Ross sighed in relief and hugged her tightly "oh my god you don't know how much relieved I am to hear it thankyou for giving me a chance" he said . 

Wiping  her tears he said "now no more tears my dear wife it doesn't suit you ".

Listening to that she blushed . He smirked and said "you're so cute" which caused her to blush more chuckling he moved the  strand of her hair behind her ears. ''No need to feel shy ''.

"i-i am sor-sorry sir .
''Don't need to call me sir and no need to say sorry wifey call me by my name now ".

Her eyes widened "n-now? "
"Yes now when else".
"i-i can't "
"why not comeon call me ".
"No-no "she said slowly feeling shy .

Fine your choice either call me Ross or hubby he said smirking I am fine with anything. To which her eyes widened like a saucer .

"I - I you-you"
" yes me"
"But"- no buts. He said encircling her by her waist pulling her close to his chest .''I won't leave you unless you call me Ross''.

"Fi-fine Ro-ross" . She said more like whispered his name sounded so heavenly from her mouth . He smiled and said  "now that wasn't so hard was it ".  To which she just nooded silently she was hell embarassesd.

After their sweet moment they both had dinner while getting to know about each other  then went to sleep in their respective rooms .

Ross was relieved on how things turn out to be it's like a weight on his shoulders had been lift after he came clean with her . Back when he saw tears in her eyes he thought she would probably sayd no but he was glad she agreed she sure was a pure hearted person.

He then smiled thinking how shy she was when he asked her to call him by his name . He will be good to her and fulfill his responsibility of a husband . Only responsibility? Somewhere deep inside he knew he had started feeling something for her but wasn't ready to accept it .

Arianna blushed remembering today's incident today was the happiest day of her life Ross decided to give their marriage a chance maybe he will love her someday too maybe good days are about to come finally.
