The deafening blare of the air horn from the large machine sent shivers down Spider-Man's spine, signaling the urgent need to take down the formidable construct swiftly. He contemplated employing the same method he had used on the cannon earlier, but he pondered whether this new machine possessed different features or defensive systems that could pose a challenge. Nevertheless, Spider-Man was determined to find a way to destroy it; the police officers were counting on his success.

However, as he prepared to take action, his scroll suddenly began to ring. He proceeded to take it out to see who was calling him. And his heart sank, the caller was his grandmother, prompting a silent curse from Spider-Man. "Why now?" he muttered to himself, torn between answering the call and dealing with the imminent threat before him.

Then the construct came to a halt and its engines fell silent, Spider-Man's attention was drawn back to the unfolding danger as the machine aimed its cannon directly at the station, emitting an ominous hum as it charged up its firing mechanism.

The dread in Spider-Man's voice was palpable as he swiftly returned the scroll to his pocket, disregarding his grandmother's call in favor of focusing on the looming threat before him.

Before Spider-Man could react, the twin linked cannon unleashed a devastating blast. A brilliant crimson beam erupted from the barrels, casting the entire area in a fiery red glow so intense that Spider-Man had to shield his eyes from the blinding light. Then the shot made its mark causing a fiery and intense explosion. As the beam subsided and the smoke cleared, all that remained of the rear defenses were molten metal and scorched earth.

The cannon then shifted its aim slightly, targeting the entrances leading to the rear area of the station. With a thunderous roar, it fired once more, creating a sizable hole in its path. The Psycho-Axes, reveling in the destructive power of their new weapon, erupted into maniacal laughter, whistling, and hurling curses at the officers. Soon, hordes of Psycho-Axes surged into the breached station, flashes of gunfire illuminating the chaos within.

Overwhelmed by shock and anger, Spider-Man knew he couldn't allow this assault to continue unchecked. Determined to intervene, he leaped from the building he was on and shot a strand of webbing towards a nearby structure. Swinging through the air with purpose, he headed towards the station even as the menacing construct relentlessly bombarded the besieged facility.

Despite the imposing threat of the destructive construct built by the Psycho-Axes, Spider-Man's primary concern remained the safety of the officers. While he acknowledged the potential consequences of leaving the construct unattended, his immediate focus was on aiding those in need within the station. Pushing aside thoughts of the repercussions, he zeroed in on the task at hand.

Upon reaching the station, Spider-Man swiftly released the web string and gracefully landed on the rooftop. Racing with unparalleled speed, he made his way towards the roof door, his movements fueled by urgency. Entering the staircase room, he descended with determination, the cries and screams of the ongoing conflict echoing through the building. The cacophony of battle was both horrifying and deafening, stirring emotions within Spider-Man that he had long struggled to reconcile. Despite his seasoned experience as a vigilante, the toll of such harrowing encounters weighed heavily on him, leaving a lasting impact on his psyche.

Upon reaching the main area of the station, Spider-Man burst in and was greeted by a grim sight. The room was a scene of carnage, littered with the bodies of fallen officers and Psycho-Axes, a stark reminder of the brutal conflict that had unfolded. The overwhelming presence of death and destruction made Spider-Man's usually confident demeanor falter, leaving him feeling uneasy and disconcerted. Just as he was trying to gather his composure, his spidey-sense tingled, alerting him to an imminent threat.
